Yup yup, 52 here, but I have always dressed very simply and not "fashionably". I am of the mind that life is too short to be uncomfortable, so I always wear comfy clothes and shoes, and only what I like regardless of what is in style or trendy at the time. I've never cared about what anyone else thought of my "style", if you could call it that. I plan on picking up the black tea rose Rogue Top Handle after work today, and I will rock it with jeans and Hey Dudes.
ditto!

Okay, let's help you rethink that floral is matronly--personally I don't think any of these matronly, and for me are just plain fun

Love these!! So gorgeous!

Whether or not floral is matronly depends on styling. Even a young woman can look matronly if she styles it wrong. I do think though that the colors on your examples above help to prevent that as they are very fun. Especially with the gradient handles. I'm totally in love with the handles.

Grab a cuppa and some biscuits, get comfy and spend some time in the Tea Rose Club.....

Ah! Thank you. This is good to see because it shows me that the roses have been around for a few years so it isn't "now or never" with regards to the bags I saw at the store. I'm really loving the multi-colored ones, especially the black/blue/purple ones, and also various shades of reds/pinks. The ones I see the store atm are all one color and while they are lovely, I like the ones folks have shown above even better. So I'll wait. :)

I love Coach tea roses. I have 2 Rogues, Dinky, Saddle and Bucket type bag. I use them for casual and dressy attire.

This thread is timely, as I am debating between the two Tea Rose Rogue Top Handles. I’m thinking this question doesn’t belong in the clubhouse since I don’t own one yet?

Brief backstory - I’ve always admired the Tea Rose concept but usually it’s on a bag that doesn’t work for me (regular Rogues, clutches) or I miss out on the right color combo (Dinkys).

The other day I was returning my Swing Zip in-store and saw the black and chalk tea roses in person and I was blown away.

Only trouble is I can’t figure out which to get. I have black and chalk bags in my collection already, but I do think this style is best for me in a neutral bc the design is complex. Any recommendations? @Alexa5 you have both right?

I love the edginess the black brings to the design, but I kinda wish it had gold hardware. In store I loved the chalk color, but on the website it looks stark white? @Alexa5 is that true? I feel like your pics make it look more cream.

I am not sure why online they keep making it look bright white as chalk is always more muted as you are describing. It is definitely more off white not bright white and would match what you saw in person.

As for which one I like them both, so it depends on your preferences I think. At first I thought black was my fave, but then I painted some of my tea roses pink on the chalk and now lean towards the chalk one.

I won’t deny that your photos have influenced me quite a bit. I’m taken with the idea of getting the chalk and having the tea roses painted in brown and tan tones. But I don’t know where I’d get the painting done. Definitely don’t have the skill myself.
