Please Review the Wear & Tear on Your Palm Spring Mini

I ended up selling my Palm Springs Mini reverse yesterday after nitpicking it after having it for a year. My bag started to wear allot on the leather tab section on the back where the d-ring loops are (I only wear it crossbody) and it really started to annoy me especially since it started showing signs of wear after a few uses. It’s a nice bag buuuut I wish I had better luck with finding a perfect Palm Springs mini bag since mine just felt like it was sewn together by a newbie LV crafter and I wish I didn’t settle on it when I first got it. I don’t think I’ll get this bag again after selling it and this was my dream bag for 2 years before I ended up getting it.

I had the same issue as you - anyone else have issues with fraying on the glazing on the leather that holds the d rings?

YES! I’m not sure if it’s a defect or if the glazing is meant to wear away? I bought my PSM July 2020 and carried gently maybe a half dozen or so times.

Yes! Mine showed wear within a week (3-4 wears. I was so upset I returned it). And of course it was made in France...looked to repurchase it and went to the store yesterday and both had poor alignment and Made in Texas! I think the glazing is minimal it’s meant to happen...but it made me question if I want it again. Sigh

Im definitely keeping an eye on it. If it gets worse I’ll take it in. I get that they’re stress points but should The construction have accounted for that?

Not sure but I returned mine within the 30 day period. Hence I’m afraid even with the new model, it won’t help much. Sigh. So torn cause I love that bag!

That’s horrible! That’s the exact reason why I returned and I’m so hesitant to repurchase

Exactly same as me!! Had it for 4.5months, used many times as shoulder bag but only 3x as backpack and noticed glazing is gone and the leather has frayed in the bottom tabs ☹️
