I am so glad to see this thread - and from a fellow 'burgher! I adore L.K. Bennett...fell in love when I was in London this year. Such high quality! Love your Rosamund.

Thank you! It's always nice to meet other 'burgers on TPF:) I am so jealous that you were in London! It's definitely on my bucket list:) I agree about the quality--I look for L.K. Bennett to really take off in the US in the upcoming years--at least I hope so!!

Agree. I regret not buying a Maddie. It was on sale at the Heathrow Airport location for a GREAT price. I should have done it. The Jenna is now in my list. It looks like the perfect bucket bag. They don't typically have outside pockets, which is why I love this one.

I agree. The Jenna is very popular and the colors are beautiful! I bought the Maddie last week during the 25% off sale. I paid about $188 for it. Not bad for a $500 bag:)

Stacy, I'm another Pittsburgher - my hometown :) Agree... it sucks to not be in NYC sometimes... this is one of those times.

I'm stalking the LK Bennett site now. How would you describe the leather of their bags -- smooshier or more structured? I find the styles a bit similar to Kate Spade (not a bad thing) but KS bags often don't impress me in person because the textures seem somehow off (I'm not a patent leather person at all).

Haha, I sometimes miss NYC too, used to live there as a student, while others were out drinking and partying away, I hopped around sample sales :) lots of fun and many fewer morning after regrets :P everyone has fun in their own way I guess

Lately I've been in a croc-embossed bag kind of mood, if it was sueded croc stamped would be mighty hard to resist - and agree the price point is excellent!

Hi elisian! Always nice to meet other locals on here:) I definitely think the quality of the L.K Bennett bags far surpass the Kate Spade bags. The leather quality is outstanding, especially on the Rosamund bags, which are all made in Italy. Based on the bags that I own, I would say the leather is more structured overall. If I were to only own one bag from this designer it would definitely be the croc embossed Rosamund! If you like really structured bags, they make a Jessica bag that is quite popular. I highly recommend trying a piece from this designer. Returns are pretty easy too. Plus, since we live so close to NJ where LK Bennett ships from, I always receive my items within 2 days and they receive them back to process the return just as quickly:)


*Oops~sorry. I had to go back and edit. You used to live in PA. It may take a little longer to ship to Oregon.

LOL--I would've been doing the same thing during my college years if I lived in NYC....hitting up all the sample sales:) I will keep my fingers crossed that they release a sueded croc stamped bag in the near future:)

Me too! Looking at the website, a sueded croc stamped jessica or small kelly would be really nice too! Now I'm wishing I was back in NYC this weekend, even though I was just there a few days ago heh. Forgot to say, I love the way your kelly tote looks from the side as well, with the zipper. Totes are so everywhere, when there's even just one design detail that's different and well done, the bag stands out in a really good way :D

Totally agree. Much higher quality than Kate Spade.

Thanks~ and I agree! The zipper detail really makes the bag..and it's actually functional in that it can be zipped up to make the bag smaller! I much prefer the LK Bennett Kelly to the LV EPI NF, which is more than 10X the price that I paid for the Kelly!
