yes, i have a couple of e-w pics somewhere. I'll look for them.
... it's weird, my jeweler says the N-S is more flattering for short fingers. I have little space from knuckle to knuckle even though I wear a 5 or 4.5 (at my normal weight). The thing is not to go too large (as if that's usually a problem with diamond?) but to have a slimming shape like EC, Rectangular Cushion, a tallish Oval, Radiant, ....you know, the length-to-width ratio?
...maybe it's like striped clothing & vertical vs. horizontal lines?

It's something to try and compare IRL. I think the longer shapes are better on my short fingers but maybe the overall hand size(I have small hands) or other elements influence the choice as well?
I love that combination! I think that I want to incorporate sapphires into my setting somehow so it goes with my band(not to be worn on same finger or hand or anything but I would like them to sort of coordinate?)
It'd be nice if I liked rounds, marquise or pears.
