Please help me with my decision: Speedy B 25

My Speedy is just out of its hibernation. The leather has developed a nice honey color. I have never treated or cleaned the vachetta. But when it was just out of the box i made it sun bathe for 2 days before using it the first time. That somewhat seasons the raw leather.

It does have few marks but thats what makes it unique. Initially i would not use it much for fear of ruining my bag. But by now I have worn it in zoo, amusement parks, nursery... I don’t go crazy anymore now. Just love carrying it.

Any tips on maintaining the vachette?

I'd say my style is more on the feminine side. I wear a lot of dresses with laces, pleats on work days. However, during the weekends, I am more dressed down - denim shorts with sneakers. So hmm :/

Then I would say to look at the rest of your collection, and see if you're missing a more casual bag, or a slightly dressier bag.
Honestly they're both so cute, and I don't think you can go wrong either way, especially if you have a very versatile style.

Pick the one you like the best! Honestly i would say you Ebene! Not to worry about vachetta, patina etc is a joy to me. Plus i always been able to dress with the DE no problem. I will tell you the truth.. when i was at Champs Elysees i saw the Speedy's and i wanted Azur one!! I thought it was the cutest and i told my Mom. My Mom went to tell me that it would not be as durable as the Ebene and it could stain on the handles. It took me 2 minutes to think about it and i chose the DE.

Then i bought the Azur one, but it has been the DE that's been in my heart and i enjoyed the most. My Speedy Ebene is vintage and it looks brand new as taken out of the box. No regrets. I have adored my Speedy.

The Speedy B25 is one of my fave bags! I have it in monogram but I personally think it looks best in DE. I didn’t get it in DE only because my sister first got it in DE and it’s her 1st ever LV bag so I didn’t want to match hers.

I prefer Speedy B25 DE over Monogram just because I don't have to worry about the vechetta and no flashy LV. I do have Monogram too but prefer DE over Monogram. I guess its depend on what you really like.

You can’t go wrong with either choice, in my opinion. You mentioned that you have a piece in DE and monogram already, but seem interested in enjoying the patina process.. so I’d go for the monogram unless you think it would bother you more than you would enjoy it.

This is one of my concerns too! My colleague has a DE Speedy 25 and is carrying it every single day! I didn't want to clash with her :/

Yes I'd like to experience the process but I am afraid I might come to regret it after purchasing it. So that's my hesitation...
