please help me to decide: frivole or butterfly pendant to add to my collection.

Have you made your decision yet? Every piece is beautiful, there is no wrong choice but I am eager to learn what you selected!

No I haven't. still going back and forth between the small and large frivole. Small will give me a perfect match with the earrings I have, but the large has better presence which I like more. and then when I cannot decide between the two, I think maybe butterfly is the solution. I guess I am not eager to pull the trigger yet. what are your thoughts?

I like the way both the small and the large necklaces look with your earrings from the original post. Maybe that doesn't help you to decide, but I think both work!

Coincidentally, I recently purchased the small earrings to go with my small necklace and am loving the pairing on me.

I think you're right, just leave it for now. If one hasn't made your heart flutter and think, I must have that, then just wait. There is always something to buy. Who knows, in a month or 2 the decision may become crystal clear between the options or a new one you are not considering now may come up.

I think it is a great decision to wait a while before you pull the trigger. Both the frivole and butterfly are very beautiful pendants. Between the large and small frivole, the large frivole looks slightly better with the proportions of your earrings, imo. However, I really love the butterfly pendant with the frivole earrings. If you want a set, then the frivole pendant but the butterfly just adds a slightly whimsical touch to the look Either decision you eventually make will still make a beautiful pairing with your frivoles.

thank you for your detailed thoughts. I think I have eliminated the small frivole, only considering the large frivole and butterfly now.
