Hi Alysha, I was extremely lucky being able to attend a jewellery show, what you can do is try to negotiate with a local jeweller or do some research online with different coloured diamond companies and see if a local jeweller can match the price. if they cannot then perhaps you can order your diamond through an online dealer?

try www.diamondsbylauren.com they have great videos of their diamonds and I have not bought form them by I hear they are great to work with. I believe a few people from here have had rings customer made by them

Diamonds by Lauren have a very nice fancy yellow, flawless, .70 I really love it, the OP should take a look.
I never had an experience with them as they are in a different continent but they sure seem ok, and with reasonable prices.

I had a tiffany on order it was .31 fancy yelllow for 5650 CDN.
there was a .56 fancy yellow for 7800 CDN.

so I think you could probably find something in the half carat range at fancy yellow for 8k or less...have your tiffany SA do a search for you. also if you are in the States (which I just noticed you are!) there's a larger inventory for your SA to search though

I live in lex.ky. so no Tiffany but I go to the Cincinnati store . I dont have a sa but when I was there last they had one that appeared large size so I didn't even ask to see it . also I was at the mall in nashville tennasee and they had 3 but I didnt want to fall in love with one and not be able to get it . Update I ordered a Tiffany soleste online and am excited but also nervous because it's a big purchase to buy unseen .

Hi, the specs are .73 fancy intense . 36 rounds but it doesn't say the clarity.
