so one in the warm desert is the XL size , the old type with embossed anagram . It has slightly thicker nappa leather and holds it’s full shape better. I returned that one.
The black one in Large is the new type with the golden logo and softer nappa leather. It doesn’t hold the rectangular shape very well. I inserted images of both with the drawstrings pulled and fully expanded for comparison.
I prefer the older XL size because I like it fully expanded as a tote but unfortunately they didn’t have the black and I was not willing to wait 6 weeks.
