It's done! Black swagger is bought. Tags are cut.
The pebbled leather looks awesome. It's a good contrast to the smooth leather trim and the black matte hardware. The bag is smaller in appearance IRL than in the pics, which makes it more appealing to me. It's a good fit into my wardrobe.
It weighs a little over 2-3/4 pounds, about a half pound more than my lightweight(?) laptop bag. But since my current laptop weighs less, the tradeoff is ok. Plus I don't mind the weight - I enjoy lifting things as long as I don't have to carry them all day. I did cart the shopping bag containing this bag around the mall for a couple of hours after I bought it and I didn't really mind. (It also had my leather jacket and another small bag inside.)
