Please help me decide - going to the store tomorrow!!

So background - im a guy 29 yo 5 7 typically like small bags . Currently in my collection I have:
1. MINI WOC - caviar SHW
2. Chanel Quilted small camera bag - caviar SHW
3. Chanel Reissue 2.55 mini camera bag - used calfskin BHW
4. Peekaboo xcross
5. Keepall 25
6. Gaston wearable wallet
7. Dior pouch with strap
8. Gucci opheida mini bag
9. Loewe mini puzzle bum bag
10. Balencia XS explorer duffle
11. Fendi drawstring small backpack

I have the chance to buy either the 23A Duma backpack or the lambskin full size WOC (both lambskin with gold hardware)
I know I already have the mini but the shape and size of the full size WOC would make it look like a totally different bag
But the duma looks like a really really cool mini backpack - I love backpacks I have a fendi drawstring I use for work , and would use the duma as an everyday casual bag outside of the office

I am torn between what to get - mind you the price difference is about 3K - I attached pictures of both , Im really torn, especially spending that much money on a bag. Please help - what would you buy if you were me ??

It's more so not about the amount , but is it worth the asking price or is the WOC a better value and purchase (even tho I already have a mini)

I have a small Gabrielle backpack and a black WOC - would definitely say to go for the backpack especially since they are seasonal! I use my backpack waaaaaay more than my WOC! Given WOCs are classics, there will always be an opportunity to buy further down the line if you're still thinking about it. I feel like the backpack would be a nice addition to your collection but at the end of the day, it's about what makes you happy and what works for your lifestyle! The backpack works for me and my day-to-day style when running around the city :) hope this helps

yes thanks for this - your right I already have a mini WOC and I can always get the bigger size another time if I really want it. I would much prefer a small backpack tho for sure I can fit as little or as much as I want and its easier to carry.
my sa texted me saying this is the only backpack they have in store so your right, this is supper hard to come by, super rare - when I saw it I literally fell in love with it and thats just thru text. I can only imagine how im gonna feel when I see it in hand tomorrow ... if I do go thru with the purchase tomorrow it'll be the last bag I get for a LONG time tho haha

Your collection sounds amazing! Personally, I would pick the WOC. I’m biased, though: I have two WOCs. Neither are lambskin (one is patent and one is caviar), but I would love to add a 19 WOC in lambskin to my collection. I like the WOC better because I think it is more secure. I personally have a fear of backpacks - they are easily broken into, and people can pull you from behind. Do I sound paranoid? Yes, absolutely! But, do we also live in a world full of awful people? Yes, absolutely! For so much money, please take that into consideration. I’m nuts, but I want everyone to be safe and enjoy their bags!

Aside from my paranoia, you also really need to choose the one that makes your heart skip a beat. If that’s how you feel about the backpack, then go for it. Truly, it is STUNNING!

You’re spending a lot of your hard-earned money: Your pick has to be perfect for YOU. Keep us posted on what you wind up going with!

they both make my heart skip if im gonna be honest but theres no way Im gonna drop 10k for both lmao

Hahaha the dilemma we on the forum all understand. There’s no wrong choice. Go have fun trying them on tomorrow. Hopefully you’ll have a gut feeling when the time comes to make your final decision. In these situations, I try to find photos and videos to see if something will help sway me one way or the other.

haha right I know no one actually cares about this dilemma I have LOL... initially I was gonna get the WOC all week I was set on it but when my SA reached out to me today with the backpack I think my mind instantly changed and ever since I cant stop thinking about the backpack

I’d go for the backpack! The WOC may be more practical, but I also don’t find it exciting. Even at less money, it’s not little money. I can’t get excited enough about a woc to spend the 3k +

since chanel doesn't have a dedicated mens line its very rare when I fall in love with a bag they offer - every bag I have from chanel I bought aftermarket but I agree I do think the WOC is overpriced , but I also think this backpack is a tad bit overpriced too but I do find it more exciting... I can wear sweatpants and sweatshirt (which I tend to do outside of work all the time lol) and this backpack can totally be used casually
