Please help me choose between Tiffany Setting or Tiffany Embrace

I love love love the Tiffany Embrace. I think the Tiffany setting is ok; the setting is too high for me. Matching wedding bands with Embrace is a little more tricky than the Tiffany setting since most don't sit flush. If you want a classic look, go for Tiffany setting but if you want a more modern, contemporary feel, go for Embrace. I'm torn between Soleste and Embrace for myself and since finding wedding bands is tricky, I just want a Schlumberger 16 stone ring for my right hand haha!

Tiffany setting. Chanel classic. Have them for more than 5 years and still love. I'm a classics girl.

By the way Tiffany Australia and Asia (I've enquired in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea. I'm not obsessed, just that I travel and whilst there, I get my rings cleaned so I chat with the SAs and I ask) doesn't offer upgrades.

It's odd that you weren't allowed to take photos. I've been to numerous Tiffanys around the world and have never been rejected a photo. These items are available online, heck their engagement ring app even allows you to "try on rings" visually.

Yeah same! I love it when my clients take pictures when they're looking at engagement rings or anything really! I guess it varies by store.

Did you decide?
I absolutely love both! I guess it comes down to your taste.
The embrace looks bigger BUT I can see the diamond better in the solitare.
I have a solitare because when spending large amounts of money I always go classic. Chanel bag, solitare diamond, cashmere long coat. For trends I play around with the high street brands.
However the embrace has a vintage victorian sort of feel to it which could be sees classic as well!
I dont know which one... I'm rambling!
The only thing with the solitare is that it will be easy to play around with different wedding bands. You can get a blingy eternity and it would look fab and add tons of sparkle or a classic platinum band and go the ultra classy route.
I think the embrace would be harder to pair a band with but then again you may find a band that you like that goes with it...
Which one speaks to you the most? Aside from what looks bigger (which I think is a US thing that bigger is better) which one speaks to your heart?

I had the exact same dilemma. I love the Tiffany setting because it's timeless and you really just focus on the beautiful rock, but I also wanted a bigger rock and the wow factor without breaking the bank. My fiance ended up getting me a custom ring; six prong like the Tiffany setting with a 1.5 CT diamond (which cost a little more than half of Tiffany's price with similar specs) and with diamonds on the band. So custom might be a good option for you if you want a bigger rock without paying for the name. If it has to be Tiffany, I'd say go with the Tiffany setting and upgrade later (if possible). The Halo looks busy imo and isn't iconic.
