I don't know if this is too late. But I faced a similar decision this year in deciding between either a Bvlgari B.Zero in RG/blue marble vs Cartier black ceramic trinity. I like both, but I had to decide which one to purchase first.
Ultimately, I purchased the blue marble B.Zero in January. My reasoning, the service at Bvlgari far FAR surpassed Cartier. Also, I already have a lot of black/silver jewelry to match my mostly black wardrobe, and no rings to match my navy/nautical wardrobe. The B.Zero ring was more distinctive and unique, and love at first sight. I like big, bold jewelry, so the B.Zero matched what I'm used to wearing anyway. Also, I'm glad I purchased the B.Zero when I did since they have raised the prices on the ceramic and marble versions. I wasn't 100% sold on the trinity in-store, esp. since I could not try it in my size.
Now, I do plan on buying the trinity as well sometime next month. But it is more of a matter of whether I purchase it in which store or through the Cartier website.
My suggestion is go with what makes your heart sing and suits your personality. The B.Zeros are bold, but the trinities are subtle.
