Please Help - I Bought Fake Boots off eBay

^^That's what I was thinkg Jet. If the seller sold outside of ebay rules that might work in the buyers favor here..coupled with the fact that the listing has been removed. I don't know what ebay may or may not be able to do as far as getting the buyer her money back though.

this is kind of a Catch 22 - because the seller sold outside of the rules. BUT the buyer agreed. In my legal thought, that voids the ebay protection because they both agreed to go outside. But because it is a fake, I believe she will be OK getting money back from her credit card company. However, I wonder how GoogleCheckout will react knowing that the sale originated on ebay?

and her feedback looks very suspect to me. She hasnt sold anything since earlier this year and last year had a few issues with items being fake. I hate to say it, but the buyer didn't do her homework on this purchase. For me, when a seller has had issues validating authenticity in the past, I wouldn't purchase from them.

I'm wondering, do you know if ebay offers their own protection in addition to Paypal? I also don't understand how this seller was able to get the Google checkout to work on ebay? ITA with you about getting the money back from her CC. That may be her only option at this point.

Yep, I guess this situation would serve as a reminder for those in doubt come here and get it authenticated!

when I say ebay, I do mean ebay/Paypal (sorry for the confusion). I sell a few things on Google, basically all you have to do is place the item in your store and sell it there. However, I don't think you can reference your google store on ebay and vice-versa.

I had so many pictures that I created a Blogspot page to display them all. With a few comments. Here it is: http://disgustingfakelouboutins.blogspot.com/

I must say that I actually had fun doing that!

As far as getting the money back, I have spoken to my credit card company. Basically, I have asked the (at this stage unresponsive. Surprise!) seller for a refund, and if that isn't granted in 10 days, the CC guys will open a dispute.

I wasn't aware that eBay banned Google Checkout - well now I know!

I have the sender's address on the shipping docs, and that address probably doesn't exist, but in case it does, is there any party in China that would be interested in tracking those bastards down?

You did a great job taking pictures, Bitstuff. I'm so sorry this happened to you. What in the heck is the inside lining made of? Pleather? I hope you get your money back. Have a Happy New Year!

bitstuff - since the listing was removed, would you mind please posting the seller's ID or PM'ing it to me. It would be worthwhile to see what else on her site is fake....
