Hi, I'm torn between the medium Gucci Soho Leather Medium Chain-Strap in the color Rose Beige. Or the Speedy 30 Bandouliere in the Damier Ebene. This is a birthday present to myself. I'm going on vacation to Disney World in a few weeks. I have 2 kids. So I'm looking for a purse that has an option to be cross body. I've been wearing my Louis Favorite cross body for months now. So I guess I'm so use to wearing a cross body. But would like something that i can wear on my arm for dinners. Please Help me!! I'm very new here. :nogood:

These are very different bags. I have the Gucci soho in black and it is gorgeous. The leather is very soft but the bag can be heavy because of the leather and chains. I also find this bag to be a little more dressy. I have never used it as a crossbody. I tend to wear my LV Favorite, or Gucci Disco for crossbody styling.

The speedy B is canvas and I think more lightweight. It can be dressy or casual and you can be more carefree with it.

I would go with the Speedy B. Good luck!

I don't think either bags are appropriate for dinner - the Speedy is too casual and the Gucci, while gorgeous, is too big imo.
Of the two, I much prefer the Gucci and I adore the Soho leather but as someone else mentioned, this bag can get heavy.

I'm going to pack another purse for night time. So I'm basically needing a cross body to the parks. I don't think i would want to take the leather purse in that setting. Thank you so much for responding!! :smile1:

I love this purse!! I was just checking the website and its out of the country. It transferred me to the self fridges site. They deliver to the US awesome!! But I'm very confused about the conversion i think? It says 1256 gbp. So would it be more in us dollars? I just checked the chart. 1256 gbp equals 1934 in usd. Is that correct??

Out of all three, I would go for Speedy B:
- lightweight (any leather will be heavier) and durable (what if your water bottle leaked inside!) for disney trip -- crossbody option works
- OK for dinner -- take off the strap and put gold-toned FOB to amp up the glam factor

Whilst Givenchy antigona mini is cute, if you want Givenchy for this trip, my vote goes for Givenchy pandora, mini or medium --- the medium can be carried as shoulder bag or crossbody. I wore my black pandora one to dinners, but again my style tends to be more casual.

You need to buy in the US or from Europe if you can get a better price. I'm sure someone from the US can advise on import taxes etc.
