Please help! Black Mark on brand new Pochette Metis

So this just happend on my, 1 month old, Pochette Metis.... my LV heart is crying! It took me ages to get her and now this..

I don’t know where the mark came from or what it is.. it just was there suddenly.. I've tried a white eraser, but that didn't do much unfortunately..

If you have any tips please share them!

You should try gently with an eraser on this mark.

Don't "rub." If you use an eraser, go gently in one direction, not vigorous back and forth. Be as minimal as you can manage.

I'd try some tiny, controlled amount of Apple LEATHER CARE lotion (NOT the cleaner), very gently on it.

Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately we don't have Apple Leather Care in The Netherlands.. So I need to order it from amazon and it will take a week or so to deliver. Do you think it will still help if i apply the Apple Care on the Vachetta then?

Good question. Sooner you deal with a mark the better. Maybe there's an equivalent mild cleansing lotion to try that you do have access to? Very, very gentle and minimal is the idea.

I am sorry that happened to your bag. bag. it to your LV local store. They have a special eraser for vachetta, they could help your bag or maybe advice about a repair (cost, complimentary), you will see. Good luck!

Thank you all for the replies! It's true that the first mark is always the hardest, especially since i'm so carefull with my bag! I guess that when the vachetta will start to darken, the mark will blend more in.. :-)

It was really hard to get my hands on the PM! It took me about a year to get her.. What I did, is just basically went as much as I could to the LV store and asked if they had one in stock. (I only live 25 minutes from the store, so that's why) In August was my lucky day, because they just got one in that day! And since it was summer-holiday; it wasn't as busy as it normally was in the store.. so I guess that was my luck!

Thank you for your reply! Ahh I guess I will have to continue waiting with patience and go into store as often I am able to too! (I live 20-25 mins away from a store too). :heart: I think I will faint the day they say they have one available, haha :P
