I love both.. I guess it depends on what his days look like and his hobbies are. To me, while the chocolate can be a very dressy watch for a sharp guy (dependent upon lifestyle and wardrobe), it reminds me more of sportier watches like the APs and Hublots my friends have. The ivory reminds me more of a classic gentleman's watch. It is less trendy but still makes a statement. I will vote for ivory because I think it is a greater contrast to what your hubby currently owns.

Thank you GoGlam! My hubby is a marketing manager for a car manufacturer and 2-3 times a week he puts on a suit but most of the time he dresses casually with T-shirt, loafers, blazer. hope this helps :smile1:

Well then he needs both! Lol seems like the chocolate would probably suit him 50% of the time just like the ivory! I don't think you can go wrong with either! I would say the white is definitely more formal whereas the chocolate seems more like a "fashion" watch

I voted for the ivory because it's easier to read (remember he will have this watch a long time - probably past the time when he may need reading glasses) and because he already has a dark faced watch.

Hi ladies im throwing this into the mix as my watchnut :D friend suggested it:

its a yellow gold daytona with a black leather strap? how does this compare to the rose gold?

i think yellow gold is a little flashy but maybe it gets toned down with the leather strap?

any comments?

Thank you ladies :smile1:

Ivory. it looks more classic. Like other tPFers mentioned, since your hubby's already wearing a black-dialed one, an ivory would be a better change. let us know your final decision. :D
