Wow thanks for posting, I'll try to get there sunday before high tea as i need to buy some non-H stuff, not a lot but might as well take advantage.
The same event is occurring at Neiman Marcus now too, of course. Saks Fifth Avenue had a special offer last week and another offer yesterday to match Neiman/Bedgdorf. Barneys had one too. It seems like all of the department stores are doing special promotions almost every other week. Sales are sharply down everywhere and stores are trying to capture whatever they can. I have received special offers from small stores too.
^^Yes, I agree all the stores seem to be hurting for sales and the boutiques also seem to be having continuous 20% sales. I think the Bergdorf sale is more generous compared to Saks and Neimans because they give a percentage value instead of tiered absolute value. So if you spend $1200 at BG you get a $180 GC but at NM you only get a $150. And if Nordstrom has the same item, they are matching all the sales with a discount at purchase instead of a GC!
