i prefer the ring on the right myself because the center stone looks more like the focal point. in any case, i'm sure either one will be really pretty on your finger. remember to post pics when you decide. good luck.

I prefer pink sapphires. I like the ring on the left, although you said it was more expensive. I guess you'll know for sure when you have them both & can try them on. good luck making such a fun decision! you'll have a beautiful new piece of jewelry either way.

Personally, I like the ring on the right - it is a little more classic and I find it to be more elegant.

Post modeling pics when you have the chance!!

Here is a link which will show you the color of fine rubies. Very different than pink sapphires. Although some rubies can be on the "pinker" side, I would look for a redder stone if I were buying a ruby:smile1: I also like the simpler halo setting on the right.

Thank you for the link, it's very helpful. Actually, I've decided to order both just to compare, but I haven't made my final decision just yet. The ruby ring should arrive by Friday. We'll see.
