My very-vintage (30+ year old) bag, pre- and post-bath. Purchased in the 1980s (my best guess) at the Rue Cambon boutique in Paris by Sylvia Roth Wildenstein (Google her--fascinating lady) and then given to her best girlfriend and then to me. The Chicago boutique wouldn't touch it (too old, too smashed flat, too dry), so I washed it. In water. EEEP! But didn't it turn out well?
