My vintage Chanel is probably from the 80's. It was pre-owned when I bought it, so I don't know. It has got some stains and marks, and the lining and chain has been replaced... Received my first Vintage Chanel today - bought online from a Japanese consign store.

It is 0XXXXXX series

Like shinymagpie (see post #112) mine is Made in Italy with the oval stamp an has the same issue with the gold bled off the interior stamps.

This is a calfskin tote from 2004. But I recently exchanged it with a girl for her Jimmy Choo 'rebel mini'....I am not sure whether I regret or not : (
