I found out that the speedy empriente original strap really not comfortable for me, it dig into my shoulder. Yesterday i bought new strap that has similar colour with the marine speedy.. Now i can wear this bag happily

Oh yea I think it’ll stretch the leather. I think I’d take scratches over torn leather. Remember though most parts on a speedy can be replaced except for the canvas so just be sure the canvas doesn’t tear at the chaps from doing this.
