I totally understand. My daughter who is almost 2 just grabs everything. One day she took my black MC nano speedy and put it on the crook of her arm. Voila, it's hers. Then she proceeded to walk around the house very proudly. It actually fits her proportionally. Then she started putting her toys inside the bag. Crazy, huh?

I didn't mean to spoil her, but I struggled with fertility and just had her very late in life. So whatever is mine will eventually be hers. But right now, she only gets the nano speedy. My thinking is at least she LIKES handbags. What if she didn't? What will I do with my vast collection???

So adorable! She'll be old enough to use her speedy before you know it! How smart to do this as I'm sure you saved a lot of money by purchasing back then compared to current prices.

Enjoy her while she's young. In the blink of an eye, she'll be a teenager refusing to carry a bag and you'll wonder how you can possibly even be related lol

When my granddaughter was 15, I offered her a Speedy Azur 25 that I had purchased a couple of years prior (but should have remembered how small they actually are since I had a monogram canvas one in 1998...). But, I thought that she was at the age where carrying a handbag was something that teenaged girls did (since I was a huge handbag aficionado when I was in junior high school and high school with my John Romain bags). Anyway, she advised me that she didn't like handbags and wouldn't want to carry one, and that she really preferred backpacks... :sad:

Yeah, not every girl is into handbags, fashion, jewelry,....etc. One of my jeweler friends told me out of her 3 daughters, no one wants to take over the business because they are just not into diamonds and gems. They are just not into pretty things. In fact, she was really sad about it because it means she has to close business when she retires.

Venessa this is so incredibly adorable, your little lady is seriously so cute 🥰. She is the size of her bag in the picture!! Thank you for sharing this and helping me feel better about it. It’s good to know I’m not alone in it 😂.

Ps….I got her little pants at boot barn. I believe you can find them online as well ❤️

Well you lost your nano 😂. I actually have had this happen with my adult daughter who was never into bags. I ordered the liv pochette in cognac and she watched me open the box. She literally fell in love with it the moment it came out of that dust bag, I never even got to try it on 😉
I was so excited for her I didn’t even bat an eye. I handed it over and that was it. It sparked her love and now she is full swing with her own journey ❤️❤️

I figured my daughter would never like them but she does, it just took her longer to find her way to purses! So I’m betting your vast collection will land in your daughters hands and she will cherish every one of them :hugs:

First time I've been home since i got my new capucines the other day so I was finally able to check to see if my hot air balloon charm matches. I assumed it was the same color but when I saw bag in person, it was much brighter than I expected so i didn't think it would but was so happy to see it's a good match after all. Was also excited to see both of my mini capucines together. Would love to eventually add more to the family :love:
