If I were lucky enough to get the cosmetic pouch GM, I would use this case. It keeps the pouch clean and safe, without the worries of pulling up the sides of the item.

I actually bought the encasement exactly because it does not do anything to the item which is nice. It would have been better if they made the base fit it like the smaller encasement sizes. The base for the GM is bigger than the base of the Cosmetic Pouch. I try to center it so it balances it out but I can’t keep doing that while I’m out and about. It just looks silly, though I know no one cares, just me 😅

That being said, I’m going still going to use the encasement. It’s nice to have variety of ways to wear it for this one Cosmetic Pouch. I’m going to give the 2 inch rings that I already got a try. I don’t carry a lot so I’m not worried. It just arrived this morning. It turned out pretty good. I kind of like the clean look as well with the pouch…different vibe. The little tabs that I got also matches well with my LV Diane straps. Of course, it became today’s bag 😁

Do you mind sharing where you got the shoulder strap? You can DM me. I'm looking for one for my monogram cosmetic GM . I'd like to shoulder carry it sometimes.

The way you put everything together is seamless. Looks like LV made it this way. Cool. It is a cleaner look, I agree.
