WOW! You are so lucky to have been able to get this at the outlet. What a STEAL!!!! She is absolutely gorgeous. I love how it has the slots inside and everything. It's such a practical yet elegant bag.

Congratulations. I like how you added the pen :)

Do I know it! Sometimes you just get lucky!

I probably would never have bought this bag at FP (or even PCE) so I am so glad that I found it at a bargain price. I'd would have said to myself "Cute, but that's a lot of money for such a small, simple bag!"

But I now think that it will turn out to be one of those "timeless classics" that will remain useful and stylish long after the trendier, more desirable bags are long gone!

I live near Orlando and now you have me wondering if they stlll have those! I've got a couple of questions for you... First, how do you know in the outlet where the FP deletes are? Also, I'm not a small woman. Is the crossbody strap generous? Thanks so much and I love your bag!

I looked at this same bag yesterday at the FP store and didn't even realize it had the credit card holder inside. I almost bought it, but wasn't sure if I could deal with the flap. Now I wish I had gotten it!!!! Dang it! Thanks for the reveal.........enabler.........lol I'm going to have to have this bag. I think it's the built-in's that are mesmerizing me..........

It's worth checking out, they may have gotten one of the marcasite ones back as a return. I am not a small woman either (short, but not small; "petite" can be such a misleading term!)

The bag fits me very comfortably and when I wear it crossbody the top of the bag is a few inches below the top of my hip. Which is good! I've tried on a few bags with long straps that are banging against my thigh!

I just measured the strap and it is 47 inches long including the hardware. The drop of the strap is about 23 inches.

Regarding telling the "Full Price deletes" from the "Made for Factory" bags. Most of the bags for sale in the outlet are MFF, and they include some very lovely bags. But I usually prefer the FP bags, they often seem more detailed and better made to me.

For bags that have a creed patch inside, you can tell the MFF bags because the style number on the creed (the second set of numbers AFTER the hyphen) begins with an "F" for "Factory."

When the full-price, retail stores get a new floorset, the overstock from the stores and the central distribution center in Jacksonville are often sent to outlets to be sold at a discounted price. These FP delete bags NEVER have an "F" at the start of the style number.

The FP deletes sold in the outlets usually have a little "bullseye" symbol stamped on the creed that is called the "bullet." The bullet just indicates that the bag was sold in the outlet not the boutique, but it is the same FP bag.

Occassionally you find a FP delete at the outlet without the bullet (a return that got put out without being stamped, etc.) It doesn't make much difference but it is considered a small "perk" if you find one.

Smaller bags and accessories sold both at the boutique stores and at the outlet usually do not have a creed patch. The little Kristin crossbody doesn't have a creed patch. For those items, check the "Made in China" tag sewn inside the bag. If it is MFF it usually has a "white dot" on the tag. There is no white dot on the FP deletes.

A lot of the FP deletes are in the 30% off section at the outlet, but they may mix some MFF bags in with them. The clearance bags in 50% off (or 40% in Florida!) are primarily MFF but there may be some FP deletes mixed in.

You may also find small FP deletes hanging on display racks or shelves in various locations. You have to become more familar with the differences and then look for them. Pretty soon you get an "eye" for it.

You can always asks the SAs. They usually refer to FP deletes as "transfer bags." If you ask an SA "is this a transfer bag?" he/she will usually tell you (or will find out for you.)

It sounds complicated but you get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Here's a few visual aids to help you differentiate the FP deletes and the MFF bags.

I borrowed the first pic below from an ebay auction. It shows the "F" at the start of the second set of number indicating "Factory" so it is a MFF bag.

The second pic shows an FP delete from the boutique store. There is no "F" at the start of the second set of numbers and no "bullet" on the creed.

The third pic is the creed of an FP delete sold at the outlet. There is no "F" at the start of the second set of numbers but there is a "bullet" stamp on the creed.

And at the link below you will find Happybag's photo of the "white dot" on a MFF accessory or small bag.

You're welcome! I love enabling fellow Coachies! :graucho:

The built-in wallet is super-cool and I think that this bag is great, but just one quick word of caution.

My mastercard is a dark saphire blue color and I couldn't find it the other day when I was checking out at the store. (Okay, I admit it, I was in the Coach store!)

I had just switched out from my little Kristin Crossbody so when got home I immediately checked it and found the card still snugly tucked into one of the slots. I just missed in because it is dark and the slots are black. No big deal, but from now on I am going to check each slot more carefully whenever I empty the crossbody!

I was forced to go back to the Coach store the next day, such a bother! ;)
