I revealed this little bag last month after my trip to Orlando but I haven't had the opportunity to use her until the last week or two. We've finally had some nice weather (not today!) and I've recently carried her while shopping, at the flea market, taking walks in the park, etc. I've decided that I really love this little bag! :cloud9:

She is more organized and roomier than a large wristlet and more convenient, comfortable, and hands free! The perfect bag when you only want to carry the essentials! :happydance:

Here are some pics of her decorated and fully loaded in case anyone's interested.

I got her at the International Drive Outlet in Orlando for a steal ($82). She was a return that should have been sent to JAX but was put out with the FP deletes by mistake. The manager wished me a "Merry Christmas" when he approved the sale!

I was smugly pleased to see her still on display when I wore her into the Coach boutique store last week! Here's the Coach web page with details about the bag. Click on the small pic to enlarge.

While I was taking photos I snapped a pic of my new Amanda Valet Fob 7393. It is a silver fob but the flash makes it look goldtone.

Wow, that looks like a great bag... I may have to put that on my wish list! And I love the valet fob. Dh and I have both been using those for years and I love being able to separate my house and car keys. Great buys!

...Is the pen fob still available

I doubt it. I found it in the clearance bin by checkout at the outlet over a year ago. I think it was only around $14, I don't know what the original price was. You may be able to find one on ebay or bonz.

It actually writes! But I have no idea where you would find a refill that size if you ever ran out of ink!

I picked it up because it was cute and cheap but I haven't used it before I found this bag. I tried various fobs from my (small) collection on the Kristin Crossbody and I felt that this one looked the best. A lot of the fobs were just "too big" or "too blingy" for this modest little bag.

I thought that it looked cute and that it was a good match for the "small, neat, organized, and practical" theme of the bag; but that's just my opinion!

The Kristin Crossbody 45128 is still available for $158 online and at the boutiques in black, white mist, and champagne, but you might be able to find one at the outlet or on ebay at a better price.

When I got this one in early April they had several of them in marcasite at the Orlando ID outlet; that's probably why the black "return bag" was mistakenly put out on display.

I was immediately attracted to it in marcasite, but I wanted to check out all the other bags before making a decision. When I finally got back to that section of the 30% off FP Deletes, I was shocked to see that a black version of the bag had magically appeared! I pounced on it!

(If it wasn't for the Coach Factory Store I might never have recognized that I have inate "cat-like" reflexes!) :roflmfao:

I hope you find one at a good price, it is a sweet and useful little bag!

Congrats, I love that little crossbody bag! The build-in organization and pretty blue lining.
My only wish is it came with full zipclosure.

That would make it more secure but I love the "look" of the Kristin line; and the Kristin latch on this bag is pretty tight. I suppose that I could always wear the flap turned inward (next to my body) if I felt that I was in an at-risk situation. Hmmm... :thinkin:

Good comment!

Oh dear! It appears that I responded to the wrong part of your quote before, sorry! I am glad to hear that you are happy with the Amanda valet fob and that it has held up well for you. Thanks!

When I bought my first Coach bag I also bought a leather and silver lobster (or trigger?) fob so that I could attach my keys to the "D". I had used that fob for a long time and it held up great, but now that Coach has "cheaped out" and eliminated the "D" ring in the newer bags, I haven't had much opportunity to take advantage of all that extra, heavy hardware.

The Amanda looks like the perfect solution! Small, light-weight, stylish, with valet convenience. So far I really like her!

I just love the Kristin crossbody bags, and I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying yours so much. You were lucky to find that at the outlet and, as you already know, you got a great deal on it!

Thanks for sharing all the pictures!

Thanks! This is the first time that I've finally figured out how to share a bunch of large-sized pics embedded in a post! I'm so pleased with myself - I just hope I don't forget how to do before the next time!
