You didn't see one of my favorite SLGs because it was inside the zip pocket, but I almost always carry it with me. My Nubuck Bleecker Pencil Case in Sharkskin/Natural 64544 BQP. I picked it up a couple of years ago in clearance at the men's outlet for only about $20. It's lightweight and slim but it holds quite a lot. Right now I have a pen, stylus, thumb drive, and a laser pointer inside of mine.

And I love the fact that it has a secret surprise, when you open the flap it says "Write This Down" it's so cute!

Thank you! I'm thinking that I should rotate out of my new Nomad so that I can enjoy all my summer bags before it's too late, but I like this one too much!

Love the pencil case! I wouldn't mind getting some kind of small pouch for my pens. I am pretty careful with my pens but accidental leaking can happen. One of my pet peeves -- I don't understand when I see preloved bags that have pen marks inside -- like what the heck happened? Lol.

Same...it always baffles me how someone can spend so much on a bag, then be so careless as to carry pens separately without some kind of case. These ink secreting utensils explode sometimes!! Not to mention pen marks...eh

what a clever piece! i refuse to carry pens in bags, i just won't risk it.

I keep one in my larger cosmetic case. It's lined in nylon.

Thanks! A pen is an important tool but it can ruin a beautiful bag. I had looked at other Coach pencil cases, both FP and MFF, and they all seemed kind of big and bulky to me; but when I came across this small, slim Bleecker at clearance prices I almost shouted "Eureka!" because it was the perfect solution for me.

apropos of nomad, did anybody get an email today from coach about their "final cut"? nomad was one of the bags listed that they are 'discontinuing'? are they eliminating the nomad from the line? or just those colors?

I think just those colors...if you look on the Coach website, they have new hues out for the Nomad.

They came in other color combos as well, so don't limit your search if you try to look for one; but I think that they were all style number 64544. It's a cute and handy little SLG, good luck!
