Hi everyone! I tried on the small aspen leaf in white gold yesterday. It is so much prettier IRL!

Half is polished and the other half is satin/brushed? On an 18" chain, it looks so pretty on because it makes such a pretty overall shape on the neckline. It has a much bigger presence than you would think for a nugget around 1/2" in diameter.

I don't even have to go back to Tiffany to see the bean anymore - I'm sold. It's a nice weight too. I've loved this designer's work for years. I'm not usually a fan of realistic jewelry shapes but this design is abstract enough that I wouldn't know it was a leaf unless someone told me. I thought about getting the larger one but I think the smaller one will be more versatile and more attractive.

I have to order the yellow gold pendant. I will probably do that in a week or so, then I have to wait a month for them to make it. It was hard to pass up the white gold one, but I don't really need another silver-toned pendant.

I realized I already have a small diamond bar pendant in yellow gold. It's on a short chain, permanently attached. I rarely wear it, so I guess the horizontal motifs don't work as well for me as the V shapes.

Thanks again for everyone's help!

I'm looking for a generic signature pendant in yellow gold that I could wear with just about everything. It needs to have some size to it, maybe 1/2 to 1 inch, and I don't want to go too sparkly because I find that hard to match.

Currently I wear a gold engraved teardrop pendant. It is plated and flat - I need something nicer.

Which of these do you like?

Any comments?

Thanks!
The tear drop just speaks to me

I love the Jennifer Meyer Leaf Pendant. I want to own the small leaf pendant in white gold but don't have $$$$ to spend on it yet. I keep watching ebay hoping one will come up for sale. If anyone has a Jennifer Meyer leaf pendant, please post pics. I would love to see it on.

Hi everyone!

I was just returning some online clothing purchases at the mall, and something told me to stop into the jewelry store and visit the leaf pendant. They were having a SALE. 40% OFF! They hardly ever have sales, and when they do, they only include a few items. The white gold leaf pendant was included in the sale! The yellow gold one was not.

The SAs were talking as if they were running out of the pendant, but the designer could decide to make more at any time. (Apparently he changes his mind a lot. Oh well, he's pretty darn successful.) But anything custom-ordered would not be on sale.

I had loved the white gold pendant every time I tried it on. I did not think I needed it, but interestingly enough, I had broken the chain on my "go to" silvertoned pendant in the meantime. The fastfix store wanted $25 to fix it. I was pretty sure it wasn't precious metal, even though it held up well for many years, so I didn't know if I wanted to invest $25 in it. That's why I thought I should go visit the leaf pendant. Divine Intervention.

After careful thought, I decided to go for the white gold pendant at 40% off. :D :D :D

They have to bring it in from the studio, and I had to pay for it in advance. So, barring unforseen circumstances, it will be mine the weekend!

This will be my first white gold pendant. My others are silver, one with rose gold, and one with marcasite, so this will be the only simple one. The SA offered to look at my silvertoned chain and she may try to fix it for free. If that gets fixed, I can wear it when I don't want to risk wearing the white gold one. (I did the magnet test on it at home, and it failed, so it is not precious metal. Then I cleaned it and noticed a small amount of wear on the back. It still looks nice, though, I would still wear it.)

I still needed a yellow gold pendant. I've decided to get an extender for my yellow gold V-bar necklace with the small diamond.

I feel good about investing in the white gold since that is the metal I prefer to wear these days.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in!
