Pick a color... black or coral whiplash tatum?

I'm not a fan of orange/coral so I say black! Gorgeous bag btw. Did you already receive the 30% coupon? I haven't gotten one.

I vote for black because that's what I ended up with. Well, that's what I will end up with. Had been lemming this bag, then when my SA called about the offer, I wasn't about to pass it up.

I think the contrast of the stitching is really sharp on the black. Gets a little lost in the coral. Also, while I like certain corals, this particular one really leans orange and is quite bright. Even if the coral was more to my liking, I think I'd still end up with the black because if I'm spending that much on a bag (it was a splurge for me even with the 30% off), I want something I know I won't get tired of. If I'm going to get a pop color, I want to get a really good deal on it.

Let us know what you decide! If you like orange though, go for it. It's a neat bag regardless of which color you get.

Thanks for all your replies everyone! I think I do prefer black. But then I found out that there are still some light blue Dakotahs floating around, so pre-ordered one of those instead! I looooove small dakotah, and blue will soon be gone. Decision made!

My motto is "there will always be black bags" but in this case the black is really stunning, I say go for it. The teal is pretty too. I like coral/orange shades but also think it a bit much

Light blue dakotah is definitely the way to go! !
If you do pick up a tote later down the road I say go for black. The coral was reminded me too much of a dirty construction orange when I saw it.

I'm so glad you started this thread. I want one of the totes and was debating black or coral as well. I've decided on the black although I haven't seen either in person. By the way, when I went to a Coach FP, the SA knew nothing about this bag. She couldn't even find it. The Macy's SA did.

I like the black best. The coral is my least favorite (but that is just personal). I just like the black with the gold hardware. Also I think it's the most striking.

But if you love coral, then it will look great on you!
