Pick a color... black or coral whiplash tatum?

I've decided to buy something at 30% off for the upcoming customer event. I'm trying to decide between the black or coral whiplash Tatum, sight unseen.

Pros for black: it's classic, won't show any marks, and since I have the small Dakotah in black, I know I'll be getting an awesome leather bag at a decent price.
Cons for black: so many black bags already (but no black tote shaped bags)

Pros for coral: I don't have anything in this color, it's "fun", it's different, etc.
Cons for coral: might show marks or wear, not a fan of the matching orange lining

Might just order both then decide when they get here. But thought I'd ask for opinions, especially from those who already have this bag!!!

That coral is stuuuuuuuunnning! You might get used to the lining

P.S. I thought I'd regret buying an orchid bag this year because the leather is lighter than I'm used to, but pebbled leather is a little easier to take care of in general, so I'd say don't worry about that. Choose what would be most "you."

I bought the black but saw all the colours at the store. The coral is really loud!! It is a super bright orange so it just wasn't for me. The black is understated and together with the light gold hardware, it is just beautiful. And I don't normally like black bags..... 😊

I would go with black... If it's loud like queenanne says, it wouldn't be for me at all (but I also don't really like orange)

Yeah I prefer more pumpkin oranges. If it's loud and bright... well, not so much esp in a big tote.

I love colored bags, but I love the black in this style... shows off the metal details so much better.

As someone with tons of black bags, I say get the black. The coral looks like it will be really loud and bright. I love color, but I usually am not a fan of coral or orange in a bag.

The whiplash tote is different enough from the dakotah in my opinion that you have two completely different looks, both high quality and stylish with a bit of an "edge". I love the black whiplash tote and if I used totes at all (I don't) I would have gotten one.

I am usually all about the color but I really like this style in the black. Can't go wrong either way but I think I like that black best with the whiplash.

Coral all the way! You can always get a "black" bag. I found this coral and I loved it, I wanted to buy it!
