Then, do you guys ""think"" Piaget jewelry is jewelry that will keep it glow in the future ? Or will it stay a not so known for its jewelry brand?

Thanks.

In our country people don't care much about brand name of jewelry as long as its gold. Its the weight and karat that matters most. In fact, if i sold or pawned my cartier trinity ring there right now I'm lucky to even get a fourth of the money i spent for it. It depends on how a person would value a thing. Whatever the brand you choose, as long as you bought it for her, she will treasure it anyway. Its not the brand but the person who gave it. My mom gave me a ring and despite that its not so expensive and just made by a local jeweller, I love it anyway. One thing to consider too is how you surprise her.

I think it depends on the person's style.

The Piaget pieces are very "romantic" with Roses and Hearts. Some girls don't like that at all.

The VCA piece is a classic and will retain its value due to the brand. I'd go for the VCA because it suits romantics and non-romantics alike style wise.

With your budget, maybe a fine timepiece? You could get a Rolex!

You picked beautiful pieces of jewellery. Do you think she will wear her necklace everyday or just on special occasions?

If everyday, go with a plainer piece if special occasions the rose would be beautiful.

Does she wear good jewelley now? You might want to get something that would fit in with her other pieces.

My sister still wears her graduation watch regularly except at work, she is a doctor, so her future career might be relevant too.

I would choose the pave VCA Alhambra. my 2nd choice is the piaget rose. both are beautiful! I find the heart a bit big and I feel it would not get the wear it deserves from a 21 year old.

I wouldn't pick Piaget if you meant that you would like a brand that holds its value well. I think VCA would be a better bet, but of course jewelry is not an investment and you must be prepared to lose money on resale.

How about considering the VCA Frivole pendant? It would combine some of the romanticism of the floral pendant, whilst imo being better regarded than a Piaget piece. But, most impt is what she likes :)
