Ran to the local Farmboy to get my favorite summer snack, and once again in awe of the quality of my Chanel. You're looking at a key pouch which I've owned since the 90s, approaching 30 years old.


As my key and cards holder/wallet, it is a loyal companion for errands and outings, but gets no love - never been cleaned or conditioned, rain, snow, greasy bar tables, sweaty jean pockets (sorry, TMI), you name it!

Besides frayed stitches and leather from the daily grind, the interior leather has stayed buttery soft. I especially love the beat up lining from the keys, I think it adds charm and character.


The outer grained caviar outer is in absolute pristine condition, showing no sign of wear and tear. Again, I do not baby this thing, and it has taken serious abuse over the years.


Compare to my Prada Saffiano Bi-fold, purchased in 2008 (15 years old) and now all scratched up.

I’m loving this denim flap. I use this bag all the time. I can wear it with my denim jeans/shorts and not worry that I will get color transfer. I’ve been thinking about a denim flap bag for a long time, I almost bought one preloved. I’m glad that I waited for this since the strap is adjustable (which makes it even more useful) and the size is perfect for casual wear. When I saw it instore - I bought it on impulse. And I am so glad that I did not second guess myself. Because it is now my favorite chanel bag and planning to use and i will be ok to abuse it.
