I did not treat my bag with anything, just a little Cadillac leather lotion every now and then. I find this caviar super sturdy, though I am careful with my bags and it didn't get soaked. I just dried it with a soft towel when I got home. These sneakers are Cole Haan and so comfy and kept me warm all day.
