Perlee Pearls of Gold Bracelet

Updating since my last post if it helps anyone.

So my store had all sizes in the bracelet I could try. Since my last post, I've realised there is no small. I was told a small is 16cm, which is my size. XS is teeny and medium was still big for my liking.

My wrist is 15.5cm or 6.1 inches imperial.

I'm confused about this bracelet. The Vancouver SA told me the S is currently not able to be ordered while the on line SA says she checks for a S daily...but others say the S size does not exist at all. I noticed the 16 disappeared recently from the website but only for RG POG. WG and YG still list size 16. If this is the case that there is no S, why would VCA make size S in every other bracelet? So odd.

The SA I spoke too was equally puzzled.

I am also confused about the sizes available but also sizing itself. Here I read about XS, S, and so on. But online it says 15, 16, 17, and so on. But what is what? And which of those 2 different sizings is equal to a Cartier Love size 17?

That I can explain - XS,S,M,L corresponds to 14,16,17,18 - no 15, don't know why. I would say they run about 0.5 larger than Cartier. Thus, 17 Cartier would be closest to a M / 17. But it will fit as if it were a Cartier 17.5. However there is also the added factor of shape. The POG is a bit rounder than a Cartier Love and some of the other Perlée bracelets like the Clover. The significance being one may feel the POG more on the horizontal or sides of the wrist vs Love or Clover.

When VCA first released the Perlee bracelets they made three sizes - S, M, and L. S ~14.5, M ~17, L ~18.

In late 2018 they introduced a new size. But they confused everyone by calling this new size "S" - and the old size "S" became "XS". The new "S" ~16. No changes to M or L.

Most Perlee bracelets were then made available in all four sizes. The single row Pearls of Gold was one of the exceptions - for whatever reason they never made a stock size 16 of that model. But it could be special ordered.

Then VCA put it on their no-order list. No more SO'ing it.

Early June 2023 the size S showed up on the US website as an option for the POG. My SA check availability that same morning - none actually available, still on the no-order list. That hasn't changed since then. No clue why they added it to the website.

Kicking myself for not just ordering the dang thing whilst that was an option!

Beware the secondary POG market. Unless a "S" is called out as being an SO - it's 99.9% the older S, which is now XS.

Also a big thank you to you! Really strange why they are not offering the S as a regular one. For me I think I tried on the M once and that seemed quite big. I wouldn´t want to buy without knowing if the S would maybe be a better fit. Anyways I think it was a lucky shot that they had one in the store to even try.

But I also wonder why it is so rare. Do they produce only small amounts or are they so popular? Or a mix of both?

Hi - did the Vancouver SA otherwise mention that all the other sizes are available to order (for the POG)? Thanks in advance! 😊

Hi. No, he didn't mention anything about other sizes, but to be fair he knew I was only interested in S. Sometime in the last year (I think it was Fall 2023) there was a size M available when I called customer service (not Vancouver).

I bought the YG POG in large size, in the boutique, last week.

I’m size 16 JUC / 17 Love, but I bought the large size as I wanted the bracelet to be free to move on my wrist, more so than my Cartier bracelets. Also the large POG fits my daughter (and my Cartiers are too small for her), and there wasn’t a medium available anyway!

Aw, I was hoping the POG was available for order in Canada too, seeing a few have popped up on this forum. Thank you for getting back to me - Greatly appreciate it! 💓😊
