Single row. For sure. I probably posted enough pics of mine. But I have a definite preference for Casual, sporty, clean. I prefer uniformity and consistency. And I’m obsessed with top notch cut quality diamonds and VCAs are better than any other vendor’s I’ve seen. So the single row is a no brainer for me. Also, it was a love at first sight piece for me and that rarely happens. I saw and tried it on for the first time in 2019 and didn’t buy it until 2022. Wish I had gotten it sooner but you live and learn. I wear it on its own just as easily as stacked usually with leather Hermes bracelets rather than my signature perlee cause I don’t like the sound of metal against metal. I feel comfortable wearing it with anything in my very casual wardrobe. And lastly I prefer it not to be recognizable. It’s one of those under the radar #ifyouknowyouknow pieces. Hilariously this is exactly the reason some people don’t prefer it. Different strokes for different folks.
@waterlily112, I just saw you said the same thing! Lol!
Chiming in that what you've posted here is exactly why this piece is at the top of my list!

While I’m processing your precious replies, here are the try ons.

I tried them solo and stacked.

It was an impromptu one and I only had my clash on which I don’t think goes with any perlee but I had a good feel of the fitting. Single row dia is XS (fits me) and clover is S (too loose). By the way I think my phone cam is crappy this round; doesn’t capture the sparkle. But I’m sure you all have seen it all irl!

Gonna say I was not really whelmed, and especially so when worn solo. What’s my problem? Lol.

And today I learnt that the Alhambra pave 5 motif doesn’t come in RG. I prefer how the diamonds are against RG (I saw the pendant in RG) than against YG.

After trying these, I moved on to trying the stones bracelets. I surprised myself. They actually look so fun and more so when stacked with other stone bracelets. The fun element is something I never had (in Jewelry).

On me, usually malachite pops but the SA gave me the look of “don’t even think about it”. She says I can consider onyx and carnelian (I saw carnelian for the first time and I don’t like that it’s not opaque. Just personal preference). I tried tiger eye, onyx, malachite, MOP (I love the black!), and chalcedony. So pretty.

Why no photos? Because I totally forgot to snap after moving to the stones haa.

Is there a fav combo of yours of two stones? Meaning wearing 2 x 5 motif bracelets.

Hi Purrsey,

Here are some pictures in link below of me trying on the Sweet Perlee Clover Bracelet:

My hubby and I fell in love with it on my wrist … It is on my wish list ❤️

I think it goes well with a good sized wide diamond tennis bracelet and an onyx bracelet.

Have fun in deciding ❤️

What size pointers are you looking at for your tennis bracelet? I find that to make impact need at least .25 pointers However my sweet spot is .40 pointers as anything larger that .50 pointers price point makes me pause.
I have no idea. The last I tried was a couple of years ago where I don’t recall what’s the carat.

Pardon I’m not familiar with pointers, but carat. I googled.
“A one-pointer refers to a 0.01 carat diamond. A two-pointer diamond refers to a 0.02 carat stone”

Referring to your .40pointers, does it mean 0.4x0.01 = 0.004 carat (which doesn’t make sense :whut:)? Or does it mean 40x0.01 = 0.4 carat per diamond? Please excuse my noob question.

Oh wow that was quick! Sounds like you had fun trying on all the different pieces. I really like the single row with your clash, but I can understand why you don't love it when worn solo, both bracelets are on the thin side :noworry: Maybe as a standalone piece you prefer something with more width?

The alhambra collection (especially in stones) is definitely more fun to play mix & match with. I'm also sad that they're so limited in the RG options for the 5 motif. Did you get to try on the RG GMOP/pave? That one is really pretty. My favorite 2 x 5 motif combo so far is probably WG chalcedony + onyx/pave alternate, here's a photo posted by a member, and you can always pop in the VCA action thread for more eye candies  If there's a specific stone that you really like, you can even buy 2 & stack them for a cleaner, but more impactful look.

No worries lol it means .40 size diamond which is 10 points under a half carat stone. See the attached

So I’m going to be totally honest here imo all the combinations are ok but none had a wow factor imo. The bling from the sweet perlee is insignificant in these all metal stacks and needs another piece to pop the clovers. I feel the same about the single row. More bling than sweet for sure but not significant presence especially if your pairing with similar sized bracelets. I prefer stack to have variations in size and materials but remain cohesive. More than one bracelet is going to be needed to achieve your goals.

In stone combos I love gmop and I have pave and stone combo and all stone version.

It’s serendipitous that @missie1 mentioned that varying depths also make the stack more interesting and gives it that little bit of extra something. @Purrsey i am not sure what specifically you’re looking for but adding a piece later that has a different width and texture may do it for you. Like @missie1’s tennis bracelets bring the blingy impact. And her clover is thicker. Have you considered a perlee signature maybe sometime after getting the single row? VCA stacks can take time. I do like the blinginess of the single row next to the primarily gold Cartier pieces you have. But I just got my pave sweet bracelet and here is the single row with motifs bracelets.

@Purrsey definitely try the grey mother of pearl and pave Alhambra as suggested. It might be a good option for you! You say you find the five motif Alhambra bracelets more fun and, yes, they are easy to wear. They will also add the visual difference to the current bracelets you own perhaps better than another rigid bangle. The grey MOP and pave has a bit of bling as well as the pretty irridescence of the mother of pearl (mine has greens and purplish tones and a hint of pink). Also it’s rose gold so you get your preferred metal. Definitely take your time-you will find the right piece! You have gotten good advice above from the other gals.

Thanks all. I’m receiving endless advice

Yes I did try the GMOP (had to google what’s that abbreviation lol. I thought it’s black, but so it’s grey) alternate with RG pave. It wins over the Malachite with alternative YG pave. I’m swooned by the GMOP plus it has the exact RG+Sparkle combo.

I should look out for green/purplish/pink for GMOP? What is it that I should avoid for this stone in terms of Color?
I reckon the care will be the same as the white MOP?

I walked into the store without thinking about the stones. Was all in for the gold and diamond. Among the two bangles, i definitely like the single row more. But I was also asking if it’s a tad similar to my Love pave sm. I know the details are different. But perhaps this is what building up in vca is all about. Many choices; matter of what is “missing” first.

Glad you tried on the GMOP pave 5 motif! I don't think you could go wrong with MOP/GMOP from VCA, as long as it doesn't look dull you should be good. Now this is just my personal preference, I've seen some really pretty GMOP on this forum and in the wild where the GMOP has a very prominent rainbow/northern lights effect (see link below for photos), that's the one I would go for. Have fun shopping & deciding on your purchase
