If you can only choose one piece among these 2, which would you choose and why? Maybe half the time stacked and the other half wear it solo.

I will find time to try at store too. And my aunt is Europe which I think may save a little cost? Though I have no idea how significant.

TIA.

I think the one row may be more versatile with your current stack. I have the xs perlee clover, I got it because I was getting tired of looking at all the scratches on my cartier love's and wanted something different. I don't know why I didn't bother to try on the one row before, perhaps my brain was wired to get something screams VCA and try to stay within my budget as I've already spent at lot at during that trip. I'm aware that the perlee clover also have the shiny finish but because of the beads and clovers are both raised above the shiny surface, I haven't experience much scratches on it at all.

But then I came across a dilemma, I really didn't like how it look when stack with my love or juc - I didn't like how the love clashes with the clover, and juc looks a bit too hard with the clover. Most of the time I've only worn the perlee clover on its on or stack with tennis bracelet when I feel like it needed something extra because sometimes the xs perlee clover can look a bit thin and and bare on the arm. This is what got me started diving into the alhambra collection, I was desperately thinking to get a 5 motif to stack with the perlee clover, and I ended up enjoy wearing the 5 motif bracelet so much more because it conforms to my wrist and more lightweight, plus my 5 motif in WG because I fell in love with the chalcedony and my perlee is in RG...So yet again, I'm back to square one with the xs perlee clover

If I can go back in time I'd much rather spend a bit more and get the one row first and then decide if I also want to get the perlee clover too, it's more versatile and as you probably remember me saying this, I really admire VCA's diamond pieces because the quality is top notch. But truthfully speaking, even under the loupe I can't tell the top notch quality in the perlee clover because the stones are smaller, so there goes my VCA diamond void having yet to be filled. It really comes down to your personal preference, do you rather get something that's more distinctively VCA? One row may be more subtle as it's one of those if you know you know bracelets  You should try on both and see which one bring you more joy, take a ton of photos to see which one look better on your arm as a standalone piece and when stack with your other bracelets.

Single row. For sure. I probably posted enough pics of mine. But I have a definite preference for Casual, sporty, clean. I prefer uniformity and consistency. And I’m obsessed with top notch cut quality diamonds and VCAs are better than any other vendor’s I’ve seen. So the single row is a no brainer for me. Also, it was a love at first sight piece for me and that rarely happens. I saw and tried it on for the first time in 2019 and didn’t buy it until 2022. Wish I had gotten it sooner but you live and learn. I wear it on its own just as easily as stacked usually with leather Hermes bracelets rather than my signature perlee cause I don’t like the sound of metal against metal. I feel comfortable wearing it with anything in my very casual wardrobe. And lastly I prefer it not to be recognizable. It’s one of those under the radar #ifyouknowyouknow pieces. Hilariously this is exactly the reason some people don’t prefer it. Different strokes for different folks.
@waterlily112, I just saw you said the same thing! Lol!

Can you tell I’ve taken a lot of notes and inspiration from you ladies here  You’re the one who got me wanting the chalcedony 5 motif & now the single row:giggle:

Thank you. I am seeing similar tunes :flowers:

As you ladies might remember, i want a bling bracelet and after a long and hard and hardest thought, I’ve decided to skip the Bvlgari Serpenti. I was thinking maybe I should cover this bracelet at some days of work (I don’t like to keep Jewelry pieces just for special occasion) and it strike me this is not right. It’s too expensive to own something I don’t rock with confidence, whenever wherever.

Now that I swing over to VCA thread, it opens my options.

I believe the single row diamond perlee is much more wearable. Yes?At least just from pics so far. It looks to me it has the right width too. I have tried so many times the classic tennis bracelet and I always don’t fall for it because they look rather thin (maybe I should be looking at bigger carats lol), even though most of the time I’m trying it while stacking with my other bracelets.

As for the sweet clover, I’m unsure till I try it.

I love the single row. Very clean, polished aesthetic. I’m not a fan of the sweet perlee clover. I feel like the clovers are not proportional to the thin width of the bracelet- almost as if the large clovers are stuck on and protruding out. I love the regular perlee clover, which I have, but don’t feel comfortable wearing it daily at work as it is a little flashy. I’ve learned that statement pieces on the weekends make me happier than wearing understated pieces on a daily basis- but this is personal preference.

I like what you say in the last sentence!

My weekend though, is quite homely and spending time with kiddo on outdoor activities so my time to rock it is at work lol.

What size pointers are you looking at for your tennis bracelet? I find that to make impact need at least .25 pointers However my sweet spot is .40 pointers as anything larger that .50 pointers price point makes me pause.

The sweet perlee is really nice too, but as I've mentioned, you'll probably end up buying more alhambra/clover pieces eventually to tie the look together because it doesn't look substantial enough (thin band, not enough sparkles) as a standalone imo, but when stack with 5 motif or sweet 6 motif it looks really nice. You said you're going through a diamonds-need phase so go for one with more & bigger diamonds! You should still try on the sweet perlee though.

Agreed with @missie1 about 0.40 pointers being a sweet spot for a tennis bracelet, the price jump at 0.50 pointers isn't worth it and it start to look fake, like some cz/swarovski bracelets. But most importantly, do you see yourself wearing a tennis as a standalone piece though? If the answer is no, I suspect that you'll still end up wanting to buy another bracelet to fill the void.

Ohhhhhh I would love to see a modeling shot of the single row and chalcedony, if you’re comfortable posting. If not, you’re welcome to send it to me if that’s more comfortable for you. Thank you

@Purrsey- I think you’ve mentioned on this thread and maybe another thread that you would wear the piece alone sometimes, and while the sweet Perlee has grown on me (I haven’t bought one, just gone from not liking it to thinking it’s nice), I also think it’s not a standalone, but as a stacking piece with 2 other pieces. At its price point, you’re better off adding money and getting the single row or a tennis bracelet. I think a tennis bracelet that’s very clean looks gorgeous alone. However, make sure you get a great deal, bc they certainly don’t hold their value. I believe you had asked on another thread about your aunt’s 5-motif pave. I think that’s a gorgeous option if it is worn short, so it doesn’t constantly flip. So basically, single row over the sweet Perlee lol. Good luck!

Hey there! Sorry I don't own the single row yet, but hopefully soon. I'm torn between getting the frivole BTF ring and single row in RG right now, maybe by the end of this year I'll be able to make up my mind & have some modeling shots to share :hbeat:

What a fun decision! That Frivole ring is beyond gorgeous! You should get it first for sure. I think it’s their prettiest ring that can be worn daily.

While I’m processing your precious replies, here are the try ons.

I tried them solo and stacked.

It was an impromptu one and I only had my clash on which I don’t think goes with any perlee but I had a good feel of the fitting. Single row dia is XS (fits me) and clover is S (too loose). By the way I think my phone cam is crappy this round; doesn’t capture the sparkle. But I’m sure you all have seen it all irl!

Gonna say I was not really whelmed, and especially so when worn solo. What’s my problem? Lol.

And today I learnt that the Alhambra pave 5 motif doesn’t come in RG. I prefer how the diamonds are against RG (I saw the pendant in RG) than against YG.

After trying these, I moved on to trying the stones bracelets. I surprised myself. They actually look so fun and more so when stacked with other stone bracelets. The fun element is something I never had (in Jewelry).

On me, usually malachite pops but the SA gave me the look of “don’t even think about it”. She says I can consider onyx and carnelian (I saw carnelian for the first time and I don’t like that it’s not opaque. Just personal preference). I tried tiger eye, onyx, malachite, MOP (I love the black!), and chalcedony. So pretty.

Why no photos? Because I totally forgot to snap after moving to the stones haa.

Is there a fav combo of yours of two stones? Meaning wearing 2 x 5 motif bracelets.
