Hi ladies, I decided to post this bag here instead of the quick reveal thread because it hasn't gotten much love on the forum. (At least, not that I have noticed.) I just discovered this Prairie satchel last weekend, but wasn't able to get it because I had DH & DS in tow and had already taken up too much time admiring the wrong color of this bag...
Anywho, I went to the outlet yesterday and found it!

I had seen this bag only in pictures before and thought, meh not my style... Most of the pictures I had seen were with the bag like this:

When I saw it in the store with a different shape I was really surprised. I especially liked that there were no flappy "wings" or "ears" like with the other Prairie bags. (Just not my thing.)

Because of the zipper in the front, I actually prefer to use the back as the front. I like how you can better appreciate the chunky seams/piping? on the sides. The other Prairies don't have this feature.

BTW, the strap is not that long. I'm 5 feet exactly and have it in the second to last notch and the bag falls at a perfect length for me.
