Well after deciding that the peanut color was the way to go I started looking at the Riley instead of the Bowery that I had ordered because the Bowery doesn't have feet on the bottom and I know some that wouldn't bother but it bothered me. I also really liked the middle zip of the Riley and that HUGE outside pocket on the back. It was also on sale for $220. I'll post pics in the Riley thread shortly [emoji4]
Great price! Hate to tell you what I got mine for, but I will! lol! 137.00 with a FREE matching MK zip around, wallet! Won an auction on ebay! Looking forward to seeing your pics! I need a peanut as well, because the watermelon is a seasonal color only, that's why I'm glad I got such a steal.
OP, did you receive your Bowery satchels? I just got my black Bowery satchel and I'm not sure. The leather is nice, but I will probably have to play with it to see if it's a keeper. Just wondering what your thoughts were on it.
I did and ended up returning it. It was very pretty but I didn't like that it did not have feet on the bottom. It was also a little limp for me. I ended up getting a Riley in peanut instead...it holds its shape better because of the middle zip.
I just returned mine too and did a presale for the dusty rose medium Selma. I like my bags more structured too. Plus the zipper opening on the Bowery satchel seemed weird to me....I don't know. That's what I get for ordering a bag I've never seen in person.
I have a peanut riley (so soft leather with no matching wallet options) and I have struggled to find a matching wallet! I recently got an off-white/ cream (or beige as it is was labelled!) wallet to match another bag that I will probably use with my peanut riley (it wasn't ML though).
This wallet would be a very good option because it has white in it to contrast the peanut and luggage. Sorry I can't be much help but I think cream/ vanilla may be an alternative.
I just bought a peanut medium selma, and and also did not want to be that "matchy" and I got a navy/white/peanut wallet just like the one you like, I really like it, though I would have preffered to buy the matching wallet :cry: but I got a great deal on them so I might as well keep it
For me, peanut is a year round shade.
But i tend to wear shades all year round whenever i feel like wearing them. If i wanna wear my neon yellow Jet Set Tote in winter, i wear it.
