Exquisite! If you have a chance, always for the Patek Philippe. Rolexes are much copied, but not the Patek Philippe--considered by some to be the best worldwide.

But it's a quartz... does it make the watch less desirable?

Anyways, I bought it... Can only wish for saving up for another PP which is mechanical in the future... I keep telling myself I am too young for a super duper expensive watch... haha

Congrats NewBVfan, I saw this PP twenty4 too. Was bothered by the fact that it is a quartz.

Hi,If I get PP24... I'd be buying the cheapest watch from the entire brand. Is it a bit... hmm... lame?

I want sthg classy and elegant but also widely recognized.
Sorry to say this but there is nothing "Lame" about a PP.

It is kind of insulting actually because not everyone on this forum wears the most expensive watches.

Some members probably can only afford a simple Guess or Fossil watch.

I am sure you did not mean to come across as snarky, it just seemed like it :shrugs:

Congrats on your watch though, it does look lovely on you:yes:

Hi,

Not a problem at all. I've heard ppl say that a BMW 325i02 is a poor man's BMW and that's the car I used to drive... So that's why I am wondering if it is a bad thing to buy one of the cheapest PP. Don't want to hear someone saying that my watch is a poor gal's PP watch, u know what I mean.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm loving the watch more and more =)

I dont see it as an issue.

It's really difficult to say a quartz watch is bad, when there arent all that many watches for women which are mechanical. And for someone starting out with the brand, and delving into watches more so, I think quartz is a good beginning. Mechanical watches can be quite difficult to deal with in terms of winding and general upkeep.

I myself have a quartz gold AP royal oak.........and am now in the process of saving for a PP mechanical. I'm literally lusting after PP. But am testing out my love for watches with a 'cheaper' one for the moment.
