I would love to see your photos with this ring on your hand)))
Honestly, I don’t know which one is more in my heart. 50/50

Truthfully, I think he difference is that 2 is a more fierce, haughty creature, you wouldn't want to get too close to but adore from afar, preferably with a glass wall between, whereas 1 is more a beautiful, softer, cat with a long tail, you may admire - from a safe distance. Think of the one that most reflects your inner-self and you won't go wrong.

My only Cartier 'big cat' ring is a gold lion (more like 1). He has a male lion's mane, but also a diamond collar and emerald eyes. I'd love to show him to you but unfortunately I seem to have hidden him from myself :annoyed: (I hope temporarily). I may have put him somewhere very safe, even safe from me. If I find him I'll show him to you.

Second one. Because: don’t like fat from my fingers getting in between open ring, so no to open panther…Also, the second ring has more presence which I like in statement rings

Thank you for your reply:heart:
I don’t notice any fat in the open space yet. But fat can also be in a regular ring, hanging from above and below)

Not so much. A good and cheap investment is an ultrasonic bath. I use this frequently and makes my rings shine again and again. Same goes for all of my jewelry but not the watches obviously.

Here you go, sry for the quality, sitting in university ....
Hi! I’ve been searching this forum for photos of this ring, and I wanted to ask if you’ve noticed the quality of the emeralds having changed over the years? I recently tried one on in store and the emerald eyes were very pale green and see-through, not as vivid and deep as yours.

Oh this picture I took long ago. To answer your questions the quality of the emerals do not change in millions of years and I still like my rings. However, the emeralds are quite small and it all depends on the light. Really fascinating for me are the diamonds which sparkle in all directions in the sunlight; e.g. on an airplane you see the white dots all round the cabin

Some of the pieces no longer have Emeralds. They are using Tsavorites instead. The website gives accurate descriptions for the stones used in the various pieces. Emeralds are mostly only used in the WG pave and High Jewellery designs now.
