I'm carrying bags that are sturdy and have little resale value, wiping the bottom and handles with alcohol every time I come back from outside. I was browsing Poshmark and was reminded of my black pebbled leather botkier trigger. fits the bill. just changed to it.

I had to laugh at this topic title. I was about to post something similar, but never would have come up with such a clever title.

Just yesterday I received a Longchamp Le Pliage (eBay). I've never carried a nylon bag or a Longchamp, but I wanted to put my better bags in the closet.

I've been washing my LV Speedy DE, and/or spraying it with alcohol. I certainly won't carry leather right now, and was getting concerned about my Speedy. So, I bought a Le Pliage on eBay. 20 bucks. Washable. Don't' mind spraying it. And I must say, I'm really digging this bag. Lightweight, durable, RED, zip top, and I can carry everything including my Lysol wipes and spray bottle. They stand upright if I pack my bag well. And I've been riding my bike (we're on lockdown) and it fits perfectly in my basket. What a handy little bag!

Can anyone help me decode the tag? Thanks!

You made my day.

I use a Longchamp Néo as my beater bag. It withstands all the untidy situations I can throw at it and still looks perfect. I agree, nylon only right now!

Just be careful of Lysol if you have a cat (I see in your avatar). These cleansers (Pinesol, stuff with phenols) are toxic to cats.
Thank you for sharing this information. I did not even knew of this.
Sadly my cat in the avatar is long passed away. I have a new cat I adopted a year ago or so. I will not spray when I allow the cat to be placed in the main house. He kept in the back house. lol

This has a pretty comprehensive list of Longchamp codes http://snobaffair.com/mervin2969/20...ake-longchamp-le-pliage-tote-the-super-guide/

Looking forward to seeing if these work!

So they finally arrived and WOW I am super impressed. I have a matte caviar Chanel jumbo that had some light corner wear/color transfer and the cleansing wipes cleaned it off with no problem. The packaging does say it's alcohol-free, though, so I'm not sure how effective it would be at protecting against COVID-19 because I am no health expert. As far as cleaning dirt off bags though, definitely recommend!!

If it doesn't have alcohol or bleach in it, I cannot imagine it would affect COVID19 at all. I'm no doctor, but that is my understanding.
