Pallas Clutch vs Pochette Accessoires NM

How did you order a PA in NM? I been trying to get one for weeks, they seem to be discontinued sadly. I am so sad.

I've ordered the Monogram PA last month, but my order was never completed as I was told the bag is discontinued. The DE PA I've bought in 2016.

Congratulations on your Pallas clutch! I just bought one today in the same color and was told it was the last in store. Originally I wanted noir but they didn’t have any in stock at the location I went to (Vendôme in Paris). SA showed me Marine and I loved the vachetta strap and it’s versatility. I got a DA Pochette Accessories and plan to use the Pallas clutch strap with it for crossbody wear!

Congrats, the Marine is also very nice! Personally I'm just too paranoid with vachetta As I have the DE Pochette Accessoires, I plan to use the chestnut strap with it (surprisingly, looks quite well). The length is also quite perfect!

I agree, it’s pretty but just too small. I have the Pallas Beauty Case, it’s amazing as a clutch and much bigger.

I believe NM stands for "New Model" or "Nouveau Modèle". The Pochette Accessoires NM is bigger than the old model, has longer strap and was slightly redesigned with the shape.

My old model PA is same size is my new model. I just purchased the NM in March of this year.

Perhaps I'm misinformed... The dimensions I've found for OM: 8.5 x 5.25 x 1.5 inches vs. NM: 9.25 x 5.3 x 1.6 inches. Based on youtube comparisons, I've always assumed the NM was bigger and could hold more.

@carrie_monroe - I measured my OM and New Model and my sizes are a little different. My NM measures 8.875 x 4.875 x 1.375 and my OM measures 8.25 x 4.875 x 1.375. So my NM is taller by 0.5 inch.

P.S. While measuring I noticed the seams on the OM are double the thickness of the seams in the NM due to the heavier canvas and the binding covering the seams in the OM. The lining in the NM hides the seams (no binding) and the seams feel considerably thinner.

With one small correction, (see red and bolded text below)

NM has longer strap compared to OM, making NM easier to wear over the shoulder.

A quick update: I've ordered both Pochette Accessoires and the Pallas Clutch over a month ago and last week I was told that my order on Pochette Accessoires will not be completed as the bag is now discontinued. However, they also had a delivery of new bags and on Friday finally I've got the Pallas Clutch!

At first glance I've thought it was way too small and that I'd have to return it. However, after putting my things inside, I've realized that it actually holds everything I need. I've used it quite a bit over the weekend and I'm actually enjoying how handy it is and that it actually feels like a 'real bag'.

It does hold a bit less than my Pochette Accessoires. Pallas Clutch would hold: a very bulky Rosalie Coin Purse, an iPhone X, a Cles Pochette, a compact, a lipstick, mints, tissues (very thin box), hand sanitizer and with the maximum version I was also able to put my sunglasses without a case inside. The Pochette Accessoires would hold all that + a hand cream and another lipstick. Normally, I wouldn't need all of those items, but it's good to have the option! On the pictures I just have the essentials that I'd normally carry inside.

In case anybody else was facing this dilemma in the future, I'm putting some of my pics with a comparision between Pochette Accessoires and the Pallas Clutch.

PA NM for me. I had the pallas clutch but the corners got peeled off after 1 time use. It has a folded corners and kinda sharp so its prone to wear and tear. Doe the PA i have the monogram and azur. My PA NM in mono is made from 2012 and still looks brand new except for the vachetta tab and strap which has a honey patina

To me, the Pallas is the prettier bag, but I just wish the corners weren't folded...I worry I will regret it down the line. The PA seems much more durable and care free. Decisions, decisions....

Yes the pallas clutch is pretty indeed. But it will not fit much. My iphone11pro will not fit comfortably in the front pocket. I’ve seen some pallas clutch that has a hole in the corners. PA is much more durable, carefree and versatile piece. Plus the price is reasonable. Get it before another price increase. Plus PA fits more than the pallas clutch

That's super good to know because I also have an iPhone 11 Pro with case and pop socket. I think you might've just convinced me to go with the PA (and you're right, there is a big difference in price in the resale market). Thank you!

To be honest i was kinda glad when my pallas clutch was deemed defective. Coz the bag is small for my daily essentials. For the price, i will definitely go for the PA nm. Good luck finding one.

Reviving this thread to ask - Pallas clutch vs multi pochette accessoires?
I have the Pallas clutch in marine and I would like to sell it and get the MPA instead. My reasons for this are the mpa is more versatile, i can use the strap for my speedy b also, and I bought a YSL shoulder bag that is fancier for going out so I don’t need the clutch to be my elegant purse. I can go more casual.

i will miss the blue leather on the Pallas clutch and I like the slip pocket. But I don’t think these are reason enough to keep it. Plus I know the folder corners will present an issue in time. Is there any reason I am missing NOT to sell? Has anyone owned both?
