I sent $2k earrings to
fashionphile via FedEx on Saturday. Label was supplied by Fashionphile. The FedEx worker at the FedEx office was rude and annoyed that he had a customer. He told me to use self service although there was no one else there. After I scanned the label, placed it in the drop box and it printed a receipt, I said, this would probably be difficult for older people. With an attitude, he said, we can help them. I had an uneasy feeling leaving my package there.
On Sunday, it was in Maspeth out for delivery but it wasn’t delivered until Monday. Fashionphile didn’t show it was delivered or checked in. On Tuesday, I messaged Fashionphile via its website to ask why it didn’t show delivered.
On Wednesday night, it showed, “This item requires your attention”. On Thursday morning, Fashionphile stated the earrings weren’t in the box and I needed to speak with the claims department who weren’t available. I left a message and emailed them. They will respond within 2 business days.
FedEx holds onto videos for 30 days. I filed a police report and requested they view the video at the FedEx office. The officers said, I can get the police report then go to FedEx and ask to see the video also.
I also wonder if fashionphile records when their employees open packages. I was going to drop it off at Neiman Marcus and wish I did! So stressful.
