maybe it's their ego....they still see themselves as very attractive
I consider over 6 ft to be tall for a man....when it gets over 6'4" that is very tall to me

Actually, I am 5'3", but I've always had a thing for height, and I have a sixth sense as to when a guy is 6'3" or taller. Almost everyone is attracted to some physical characteristics, and mine happens to be height. Dh is 6'8". Maybe I'm subconsciously trying to compensate for my own stature? Regardless, I have three children, and I am the shortest one in my house. Even DD is 5'9", although my boys are disappointed that they aren't quite as tall as their dad (6'3" and 6'5").

if your DH is 6'8" that might explain why you think 6'1" isn't tall....you're used to looking at him

But when you're getting old it is comforting to realize that everyone else is too. I have to remind my husband of this regularly. Pacino as Michael Corleone was the heartthrob of several of my friends when I was in high school. :shocked:

Jackson Browne was also at the kennedy honors...he and bonnie raitt (younger than pacino but much older than they used to be) looked much better. Jackson has grey hair and grey beard. but looks pretty good. that hair on pacino isn't helpful

I’m listening to Al Pacino’s memoir and he talks a lot about the impact of not having his dad around during his childhood. It makes me wonder if the new baby was planned or a surprise.
