Overpaid???

I just read thru all these posts which assured me on the color  I just grabbed my first B30 preowned in PLOMB (I had to google b/c I had never heard of this color before) with palladium HW from FP so I'm excited to get it & see it in person!! I'm hoping it will be a good neutral
Plomb is beautiful and reads almost like a matte black.

The bag was well-photographed and the leather does not appear to be seriously worn.
No doubt a visit to Hermes Spa can return it looking like new.
With regard to whether you have overpaid on not is a decision that only you can come to for yourself.
It is your assessment of whether this is the right bag for you: one that will give you endless pleasure and use.
Anything, second-hand or brand new, is only worth what someone will pay for it.
If it is that important to you, look at the market.
Pricing/value is as difficult to tell, as it is with real estate, unless you have a number of similar properties to compare with very few variables.
I mentioned before that friend of mine was recently going to pay what I considered to be above market value for a property, but she had her own legitimate reasons.

Do you mind looking at these photos to tell me if they think the wear is too bad for my 1st B30 please? Thx!! https://www.fashionphile.com/p/hermes-togo-birkin-30-plomb-1117200
I paid $14,500; was this a good price or did i overpay for the age & wear? Thx so much!
I've given up looking for 2nd hand quota bags at a 'good price'.
A good price is what is within your budget and not a penny more.
To my eyes the wear looks largely cosmetic rather than structural and I'm sure spa could sort it out.

great point! Yes I agree; the structure seems good. Do you happen to know how much the H spa charges & how long it takes? thx so much

Take the bag to the boutique and they will give you a quote usually after sending it to Paris.
Unless you are fortunate enough to live somewhere where they have an in-house artisan.
Time-scale varies but be prepared for months rather than weeks.
I think its a lovely bag by the way.
