I really shouldn’t be doing this. However, this morning, on my daily routine of checking for Palm Springs Mini monogram, as I always do, I noticed the website says, “add to bag” instead of the usual “notify me when available”. How curious?!?!
I clicked and it really was available! Like on autopilot mode, I proceed to make payment and have it delivered on the same day.
It really is a mini bag! 4 items and bulky of the space is gone. I used standard size items you could find, Evian small bottle of water, Juliette wallet, men’s eclipse coin pouch and pochette Cles. I placed pochette cles for size reference for those who are keen to see how big or small the bag is.
Now, I am pondering if I should keep or return because this is an impulse purchase. I had an impression the bag seems to be able to fit a lot on videos. But when I’m fitting my lifestyle in it, it’s kinda tight. Not quite what I expected.
I am pleased with the alignment and everything, slight dent on canvas but acceptable.
So any insights about what else I should consider before deciding to keep or return?

I think the word I was looking for was - I was underwhelmed by how tiny it is, it can fit my basic casual needs but no room for surprises should I want to add more stuff.
I agree with you about the size. I'm always amazed how people describe tiny bags with 'wow it fits so much' etc etc. This never happens to me and I don't even carry a lot! I love the PSM but sent it back as I don't like how it sits crossbody and I would never carry it as a backpack. I've gone for the MWT bumbag instead as I prefer how this looks crossbody.
Many people style it crossbody by linking the strap to both the top D-rings. I tried it, I can understand why people say the leather on the top two D-rings gets wore because it’s pretty narrow and would cause stress on those points in the long run.
So I decided to do crossbody but link the strap diagonally, one top D-ring to a bottom D-ring diagonally instead. The outcome looks better in my opinion. Kinda made it look a one-sling backpack style instead.
I am also not likely to style it as backpack as the strap is too long for my short stature (5 ft).

I see it comes in 2 sizes and just wondering if bigger size might be easier to get on/off
Yeah! I can get it on and off by myself. I have a pretty small wrist and went with the larger size (19) because I found it easier to put on and take off by myself. I also like my bracelets to dangle a little and the smaller size (17) was a tad too small. There was no way I was able to put it on and take it off myself.
