There is a brand new Coach outlet in the Pleasant Prairie outlet mall just over the border in Wisconsin. Just opened last week.

Ooh! good to know! I'll be in Chicago visiting my mom next week. We were gonna head to the outlets in Aurora...but maybe we'll drive up to Wisconsin!

Really? I'm not crazy about them myself. But why don't you believe in them? I'm curious to know.

Well thanks for getting me started girl. Me personally, I don't find any "deals" outlet shopping. I can go to the actually store that I frequent during sales time and what not and get the same if not better deals. I also hardly ever like the outlet merchandise. Most stores create stuff strictly for the outlet or it's something wrong with some of it :yucky: or it didn't sell in the store.

I can find some good stuff at the outlets, but not a lot. I've bought a messenger bag from L.L. Bean that had someone else's initials on it, but it was a really good price for a bag I wanted and I've bought stuff from coach.

I don't like all the walking in the sun. I'm not an outside person and all the outlets I've been to are outside. I enjoy air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter. A lot of stores I've been in look like a tornado have blown through them. I'm not a rumager. I don't dig through piles of clothes and shoes and whatever else they're selling to find "the deal". I can find "the deal" in the store eventually. Nothing in the outlet is something I desperately need. I go to the outlet because my crazy friends want to go walk around in the sun and go to the slots. I don't understand it, but I go because they're my friends and I wouldn't see it any other way. Unless I suddenly come up with a cold. *cough cough*

I'm with you on many of those points. I never find many "deals" either and when I do look around the merchandise doesn't seem to be up to par quality wise. And then there is the fact that I hate rummaging through bins and all that in some outlets. I'm to lazy for that.

And there is also the fact that I too hate having to walk around outside to get from store to store. Its too hot for all of that.

If the deals were better, I would suffer through all the heat, but if the stores were inside, I would go because I would be more comfortable. I go to some wack malls all the time that I never buy from so it's all about comfort.

I love the Hagerstown outlet. I'm not into outlet shopping, but I'm willing to take the drive the Hagerstown (We usually go when we are going to go to the slots in WV) strickly for the coach outlet. A lot of that other stuff is crap. But I love my Coach store in Towson so I don't think that the outlet is going to change that, but it definitely adds a lot to my collection.
The Haggerstown outlet is usually a hit or miss for me. I finally went to the Leesburg outlet and I went gaga over there. The last time I went to the Haggerstown one though they added the signature line so that was nice.
