In the end I decided on dangle earrings. They are different from the typical studs. Dangle earrings are so hot right now but I think long term they will be classic enough.

I love everything about these earrings. The size, the mounting, the fact your hubby was involved and made a decision LOL.

To me, these earrings are so much more chic than studs. I love that they are not the same old, same old. I love that they have movement. I love the way they look with your long hair. Just perfect.

You still have the sentimental aspect plus a gorgeous pair of earrings to show for it.
I wish more gals would recycle old diamonds...the possibilities are endless and these earrings are a perfect example!
