Order keeps getting cancelled, need to do phone order

Good Afternoon Everyone

I have wanted to buy the reverse monogram card holder and I placed orders 5 times and it was cancelled. It shows it is available. I had two LV accounts and one was deleted by my request. My financial institution is not blocking any transcations, and I tried two different cards and the paypal method.
I only got the 'unable to process your order' email. I am not a serial returner. My previous order was a phone order. I have not bought anything from LV this year, so I know I didn't hit the limit.

Can anyone help me understand why they keep cancelling?

Have you called LV customer service?

I've had this issue during the pandemic.
Had to call customer service 2x and after putting in 3 orders, the last one was done by customer service on the phone for me.

I asked as well and they have no idea why.

Unfortunately, I think it's just a system problem and it's not something a person in Customer Service can help with nor understand exactly why.

Happened to me a few years back. I was trying to ship to a boutique, which of course wasn’t the address on my credit card. Same thing, though, charges weren’t even hitting my card, so weren’t being declined. Maybe that’s it?

Charges hit my card everytime and then get reversed almost immediately. But i get the bank notification that LV has made a charge.

No the address of shipment and billing is the same.

Interesting, I wonder if they don't want to be held liable for an incorrect order or if their policy changed.

I recall the lady on the phone being so nice and helpful and perhaps it was a choice she was willing to risk.

Who knows. :P
 
Sometimes when an order says pending on your CC and then is cancelled it's because it's out of stock or no longer available. Could be an inventory glitch when it says "add to cart"

I thought of that, but it has been available all day. After adding it to my cart, LV even emails me to 'continue shopping'
 
That’s happened to me before and again two days ago. When I reached out, they told me someone would get back to me within 48 hours I had tried twice and the order went through but was immediately canceled. I didn’t wanna wait 48 hours so I checked out with PayPal and it went fine, I’ve already received the bags

I tried paypal too three times and still got cancelled.

That exact same thing would happen to me when I tried to order from Fashionphile, not LV. But it was the exact scenario. My bank wasn't declining it, and it would charge and then immediately reverse the charge. Finally someone recommended I use my PayPal account and that worked. Did you try using PP?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you tried using your PP already.

Are you using a credit card not issued in the country/region where you are attempting to purchase by any chance?

I've tried to use a card issued in Asia to buy off the UK site and it got charged and then immediately reversed and cancelled. I expected it though, it was an experiment.
