Would love to here opinions about Orange Poppy color in winter and northern countries!
I am considering a B35 Togo in OP GHW but worried it will be too ”loud” on the wintery streets of my Scandinavian home land where most of the people wear dark clothes and bags..
I never wear black. My winter outfit consists of navy jeans, white/beige pullover and beige coat. Even though I am not the biggest fan of LV (sorry! LV lovers!) but I use a monogram LV bag just bc it doesn’t gain attention..
Will I be an ”exclamation point” on the streets with that bag? 🙈

Your clothing colour palette seems made for orange poppy, but as mentioned you need to be comfortable with that it will stand out. It’s a gorgeous shade of orange. FWIW I’m in Canada so I understand the winter comment. I get so tired of dull colours in the winter that orange in my wardrobe would be a welcome treat.

Oh yeah, it will be pretty loud in a Scandinavian country in winter. You’ll be able to see it coming for a mile in a sea of gray and black. OTOH, it’s a gorgeous color and will feel really cheerful and fun. Like giving everyone you meet a shot of Vitamin C. Since it will pop, you might consider some other bright accessories with your coat, like a scarf or gloves. Or buy a fun coat in a pop color and the bag will go wonderfully. I’d buy it in a minute, but I adore H oranges.

Are you comfortable drawing attention with your bag?
It sounds like a lovely bright pop of color , but you need to feel ok with people noticing
This is the exact problem. Not that I would not love the color/bag but I am concerned if I feel comfortable with people noticing. After all it is a Birkin and plus in such pop of color. To be honest, I don't have a clue how I would feel about that. The worst fear that I have is that the bag will stay on a shelf.. This is a decision between my head and heart. And it is making me crazy!

Me too, I love H oranges!! Rose Jaipur is just . But yes, it is just like you described. People would see me coming loooong way ahead. But will I feel comfortable with that? Have you seen OP in real life? Just how POP is it?? And btw, I LOVE your description about the Vitamin C in winter time!

Ah, I believe you Canadians do undestand the circumstances here in Scandinavia in winter time! May I ask if you could see yourself wearing Poppy Orange in winter?? Especially if it is just dark and cold, like many winter days here at least.. Everyone going with their black bags and there I come, with a Poppy Orange B

I also love Orange tones !! I say go for it - people will notice the bag - not necessarily because it’s a Birkin - but because it’s such a happy jolt of color, that is also very wearable with your palette- if it makes you smile -why not ?
I am afraid I will get really uncomfortable wearing it. Many people would notice it is a Birkin, "the most expensive bag there is", and then in a "screaming" pop of color. If I lived I say California or Italy I wouldn't hesitate. But this is a country where people live in the summer and sleep in the winter, lol!
