Orange Box only intended for handbags?

Of course there are bags in an H boutique. Can you imagine what kind of chaos it will bring and the kinds of fights that would ensue if they said: "We have lots of bags in the back but we are not selling them to you..only to specific clients that we chose"?
Anyways, to answer your question, orange boxes are not just for bags.
Actually I do not necessarily need to get a Hermes. Chanel models are also very gorgeous and service nice too. But in Switzerland, the Classic & 2.55 Maxi costs already same like a Birkin Togo/ Kelly..... So I wanted to go to Hermes and see how their Bags are. It was also weird that they didn`t ask if I were interested in their other stuff.... So I ended up going to Chanel and got their M/L Classic and other SLG  ---I like to have luxuriös treatment for buying luxuriös stuff not otherwise:P ....

Anyways, all Rolex are also sold out in Switzerland. You have to order. So I thought could be at Hermes too... But the treatment, how they handle the customer. Letting them waiting outside without telling immediately, is unacceptable. Shopping should be fun & also to enjoy the experience.

Hi everyone,

Is it normal Bolide Mini Case (21cm) come without orange box, but just a simple white tissue paper wrapped around ?

Does anyone know what kind of Hermes goods comes with/without orange box?
Most of products are in orange box but I find sometimes some products comes without - is there any rules ?

Yes it’s normal. Almost none of the Bath and Beach category items come with boxes. This includes all the canvas and neoprene cases and pouches (including the bride a Brac).

Perhaps it would be more accurate for me to have said that unlike bags, SLGs, and shoes, which come to the boutique in their individual specific boxes with product label stickers attached, these Bath and Beach items are more like RTW and jewelry which comes wrapped in cellophane and then the store can choose whether or not to find a box from their box inventory to package it or to just wrap it in paper.

That is interesting. That is why probably I have mixed experiences of my bath items purchased at different times from same boutique. One time came with box, one time only white paper. Another time with white paper but with hermes ribbon tied on white paper… Probably depends even on SA, not only on boutique..

One of my bath item (pouch) came in a box looks like for “mini Kelly” box size, and another was in “shoe” box size. I suppose my boutique basically do not put box for bath goods but my SA went an extra mile to put in the suitable box which I believe someone did not take the box when purchasing. Does it sound right?

“mini Kelly” box had white tissue and dust cover, and “shoe” box had no white tissue paper.

I actually don't think I have *ever* received something without a box (looking at the boxes I recently got rid of) - from horse blankets and HACs to cosmetic pouches, silk ornaments, scented paper, everything has come in a box unless I specifically asked not to have one (for instance I refused a shoe box recently because I preferred to just put the shoes in their dust bags into the backpack I had at the time. Also, all of the boxes have tissue.
This must just vary from boutique to boutique, and I only shop in big cities which would naturally have the inventory of boxes.
Airport boutiques though do not always have boxes (although they do for bags and shoes). Assuming many people don't want the box when traveling.

I was a bit „shocked“, when I saw that a 1500€ shirt from my home boutique was just wrapped in paper. That was really strange. At FSH they at least asked whether I wanted a t shirt in a box or not. Now my SA knows that I like and want the boxes

But given the hype around these boxes, I find it strange that they are not standard…

Yes, sometimes, they do wrap things up in tissue paper and then in a bag (if they know I am a tourist), thinking that it is easier for me to bring it home.
But when I asked for a box, they would find one for me (this includes anything from the store).
This also happened in CHANEL, I got a winter scarf and they wrapped it in tissue paper as they know I am taking the train back home. But when I told them I would like a box, they found 1 and added all the ribbons and camelia flower. So, boxes are always available even if they don't offer it at first.
